Not saying he needs to be on the hot seat….but coaching was a huge part of that loss. From the decision to go for it on the first drive (which led to deciding points) to the equipment failure during the storm to the total discombobulated play calling down the stretch. Add to that the lack of discipline. Oh yeah, keeping Milroe in the game was as stubborn of a coaching move as I’ve ever seen.

This is going to be a long offseason for KDB.

I'm just hoping the only reason he didn't pull him is because Milroe told him it was his last game.

He did an absolutely awful job this year.

I feel pretty confident that’s the case.

He willingly put himself on the hot seat. I won’t have a problem if he gets canned next year with back to back mediocre seasons. He put one player above the program and the mental errors did not improve from last year at all. If the players aren’t getting better then he isn’t doing a good job, plain and simple.

I completely agreed with that decision, it’s a bowl game, go for it. The problem was he continued to not understand he’s playing a QB with the mind of a 7th grader.

That sack was not on Deboer. I have full confidence we’ll be legit next year without Milroe

Why should that matter? Why does one players ego trump the result?

Conveniently forgetting Saban didn't bench the guy either.

This is a golden opportunity handed to Deboer. Mindboggling he would waste it on a bum QB when he didnt have to. I don't know how he doesn't get physically ill watching this nightmare on the sudeline.

He just went 9-4 at Alabama and broke a 16 year streak of winning 10 games. He lost to three awful teams.

Given the talent, it is literally the worst coaching job in Alabama football history.

His team was completely unprepared to play three games this year.

What sux is not one other qb got to play in this game. None of them, no player, can look forward to next year because they know their coach is a dipshit. 3 weeks to put this on the field

I know we can’t compare CKD to the GOAT but three losses to unranked teams in one season compared to one in the previous 16 seems like a coaching problem. Bama fans deserve better than this.

This x10000000

Best roster he will have at Bama and this is the result. I could’ve understood two losses. That’s it. Maybe a third in the playoff. What we got was four abysmal losses.

If he can’t take the heat, he needs to get out of the kitchen. Good coaches take the heat and use it as motivation.

Would give DeBoer a lot of grace if he had at least tried another QB. At least it looks like he was looking to the future instead of putting one player above everyone else.
