I know he has some bumps and bruises from this last game, I am trying to give him props for what he did at Duke. Is he in the bottom two?

There is nothing about his offensive that would give me hope.

Aggie spent millions to fire an offensive coach with a bad offense just to hire a defensive coach with a bad defense.

Year 1 comparison:

Kevin Sumlin 11-2

Jimbo Fisher 9-4

Mike Elko 8-5

Short term coach at A&M. Bottom quintile in the SEC. Terrible hire.

If you’re going to be a shitty football coach, you could at least look like a coach. Elmo is a Shiite coach who looks like a fat slob that aggy dragged away from a Golden Corral buffet.

He out-coached Kelly.

He was great as a child when he played Ralphie in a Christmas Story.

The ugly reality: in the pantheon of former tamu coaches going back a quarter century, only Fran is below him. Like Malzahn, he should have stayed in his lane, that’s his problem. Tamu’s problem is they’re tamu, and no coach changes that.

I can't believe we're making judgments on Elko being one of the worst coaches in the SEC when he's in his first year after taking over a dumpster fire of a program from Fisher. People aren't even judging Kelly like this, and he's in his third season, went 8-4 and was smashed by Elko this year.

Give it a couple of years, then revisit this conversation.

1. Sark
2. Kirby
3. DeBoer
4. Kiffin
5. Heupel
6. Kelly
7. Beamer
8. Drinkspiss
9. Elko

Could jump as high as 3 next season with a CFP appearance depending on how 3-7 plays outs

I try to be optimistic, but this is starting to seem like reality and it's depressing as heck.
