It will now be legal for Athletic Departments to make direct payments to athletes and the Big 10 Schools will be able to pay more.

Sankey probably got a lot of under the table money to sign off on a deal which has put the SEC in a greatly inferior position financially.

Big 10 schools will be able to pay players more and will buy better players. Sux but true.

Nobody from the south wants to go play in the cold en masse. The SEC will be fine.

The only way the northern teams could get southern talent was cash. And thats exactly how they will compete. Cherry picking the south's talent.

There’s some truth to it. The weird thing is the FCS teams are all basically Canada

Thank you brother. Used to sho nuff dig me some Doobie Brothers. Absolutely great in concert, and it was a100% certainty that I would get laid real good when I got my date back to the crib afterward. They affected hippie chicks like that.

Setting aside the fact this sentence makes absolutely no sense, the notion that players won't go to Michigan or Wisconsin or even Purdue for more money is nonsense. August & September are much nicer in the B1G than in the SEC. It's only mid-late November on that these snow games are played.

Something about money, BS walking and talking belongs here.

Ohio State openly has a $20 million roster and they just beat the shite out of a 2 loss SEC team who no one questioned being in the playoff.

BIG10 has a ton of money and will spend.

SEC will of course counter and spend as well but the northern schools will be all in as well.

Shhhh don't try bringing in facts here. If an SEC team loses it has to be because the other team is buying players or cheating or both.

Sankey somehow managed to get the SEC relegated to 2nd place conference. Amazing how that happened.

You gotta play the long game here. This is all a game to weaken the NCAA and for the SEC and Big 10 to break away.

We as fans care about who wins a natty. The conference leadership cares about the revenue generated. And the SEC and Big 10 see no reason to share revenues with anyone else.

Southern boys experiencing these playoff games where the ball is rock hard and even a light tap feels like a full bullrush will steer their ex-teammates still in high school to think long and hard before committing to living and playing on the frozen tundra.

B1G can lick my taint, they aren't dominating anything. Even Eugene Oregon can be quite unpleasant for the next couple months.

Of course it takes the same kind of toughness to make it through 105f summer conditioning in Austin Texas, but most of the boys were born and raised in that type of heat.
