I literally have no idea how Michigan beat them. It was a weird game. Very cold and blustery in the shoe that day. OSU missed two point blank field goals because of the wind.

No idea what to take from it. This seemed like the best matchup in the first round but Tennessee apparently was not prepared.

ETA: Some will claim this proves Bama shouldn't have made the playoffs, but that nonsense will end when we beat UM.

I’ve enjoyed those giant walking bags of pus getting spanked on national TV.

Even before this game we would have had a difficult game with Michigan.
Our inconsistencies on offense and defense make us completely unpredictable. Every game is a roll of dice.
Ohio State played a complete game in every facet. 10rC were embarrassed. Did not even belong on the field.

Just reminds me of Alabama's low points this season.

Stage fright apparently. They lived off of home field advantage for their biggest rival matchups this year. They did beat OU and Vandy, but Nico didn’t give OU 14 points, and they had a whole season of film on Pavia.

Michigan is not a good team and has had a ton of opt outs. I wonder if the motivation was where it needed to be for Ohio State given that they were basically playing for nothing but pride in that game.

Everything that was done by Ohio State tonight was how our staff wanted to attack the Vols. Their secondary is weak and loses people in coverage. However our passing game execution was so piss poor we lost the game despite Vols have 3 first half turnovers.

I’m not surprised Ohio State did this. I expected 4 blow outs and no upsets. My expectations were met.

As for Michigan and Alabama? This means nothing. Our matchups personnel and scheme wise are what will decide that game.

For the sake of the SEC, Bama better win it.

Don't take your shirts off during warmups in freezing weather to look tough...and then put your panties on at the coin toss.

No they wouldn't. We actually would get DPIs and other fouls called so they game would be close either way.

We literally were beating a better Michigan team last year and lost due to so many damn personal errors and playcalling mistakes

They prepared for OSU like we prepared for OK - they didn't

I'm sure they prepared but people have to get it through their skulls that losses don't make who you are, wins do.

That OSU team had the potential for greatness.

That rocky top team did not. They beat us due to officiating. Period. If the game is called straight like against OSU they get beat by +10 at Neyland.

When they don't have that officiating advantage or home field they tend to look above average.

I didnt think Tenn was a top team. I think had we played just a little better we would of beat them. Also, I am sure the cold weather didnt help.

Yes, there are worse things than being left out of playoff. Getting humiliated by 30 points is one of them

- Home field advantage in the playoffs is incredibly important

- That OSU team is really, really good when they’re firing on all cylinders like last night

- Nicole is heading for big time bust territory unless he makes exponential strides in his passing game/decision making. Looked like a deer facing down an 18 wheeler in the middle of 20/59 last night.

It'd probably help if the bracket seeding wasn't so fricked up from the floor up that you have the 6th ranked team playing the 7th ranked team. Tennessee shoulda been at home v. SMU. Ohio State should have been sending off Jalen Milroe for us.
