This boards narrative that these are best 12 teams

Is currently up in flames. Alabama, Ole Miss and South Carolina would all do much better. These sorry arse ACC teams have no business being here. SMU had a chance (again) to win a ranked game and failed miserably. The committee has no clue what they're doing.

This is the current board narrative. You blind?

Most of those are trolls. According to playoff committee criteria they picked the correct 12 teams. The issue is with the criteria that they established. They know who the best 12 teams are.

All those teams lost three games. The committee decided that a three loss team doesn't belong in the playoff. Sucks to suck.

When was that ever the board narrative.
The board narrative has been that three teams (but mostly Bama fans) have been whining when they screwed it up themselves.
Don't lose to OU by 21. As McElroy said, if Bama had even showed up to give them a finish in that game, even with a loss, Bama is probably in.

That wasn't the narrative on selection Sunday. Especially when it came to Alabama.

Unless they win a shitty conference, of course

The teams that are complaining about getting in lost to bad teams. It's real simple

I mean they kind of did and then it was taken off the board for something that was proven to be wrong. But yes.

Just because a bunch of scrub ACC teams and Notre Dame will get their teeth kicked in over the next 2 weeks does not mean a bunch of 3 loss turds like Bama and Ole Miss deserved to get in the Playoffs.
Now South Carolina has a gripe. The rest of y’all SFU.

No 9-3 should ever get into the playoff out of principle alone.
That's like these 83-79 MLB teams making the playoffs and making a playoff run. It's completely flukey.

OP must be on the wrong board

You're confusing 12 best with most deserving. You did the same thing last year. You happened to get in, you bragged about it because you were "the king", and proceeded to fall flat on your face. I've got news for Alabama fans. You aren't entitled to shite and I'm sorry that new reality is starting to set in for you. Handle your business if you want to get in.

Committee got it right imho

Nobody ever has argued these are the 12 best teams.
The argument is that they're the 12 most deserving teams.
The reality is Bama could have lost to UGA and SC this year and still would have been one of the 10 teams most likely to win a playoff had they got in. Simply because of the level of talent on their roster.
But they wouldn't deserve a spot at 7-5... and they don't at 9-3 with two losses to 6-6 teams.
There were 15 teams coming into this season with blue chip ratios above 50%. The best 12 teams come from that list of 15, regardless of what their records are this year. They're the only ones with enough talent to come out of a 12 team playoff winning the 3-4 games straight needed to win a national title.
But if you want to have a regular season that means anything, you can't choose the best teams. You have to choose the most deserving. The biggest mistake the playoff committee makes it pretending they're selecting the best.

We already know you're retarded. You don't have to keep proving it.
The committee didn't put Clemson in, dumbass.

Well then, they should’ve won more than 9 games. How hard is this to understand?

Poor puppy we know why you do not want those two teams in the playoffs because both embarrassed you in the regular season.
