Apparently that was a condition to get Grant Nelson's transfer.

Donovan would do random road games like that ...especially if a player was from a particular state

Oats shouldn’t be such a bitch. Not like you owe them anything for a transfer.

Something Oats took from Dean Smith. Go on the road to the star players' home school.

Did Dean Smith barely escape with a win when he did it?

97-90 final. They played the game of their lives had a stretch where everything went in and one dude was unconscious scored 40. Bama shot horribly from the line.

Close, but close doesn't cut it.

Nah. Oats, and other coaches including Pearl and other SEC guys, make a habit of trying to schedule at least one game in/near players' hometowns while they are in the program. This was one of those games.

And played bad defense along with turning the ball over a ton.

It is one of the toughest schedules. This game, though, is bama with all of their issues on display. They averted disaster, though, and a loss to this team would have been a disaster.

An abundance of broken corndogs. Combine that with half of them having multiple shitty alters made for the sole purpose of trolling 'Bama, and there's your answer.

A lot of coaches do it.
Bruce did it for Denver Jones last year playing in Huntsville.

That's just a lie. Wm we've had him 2 seasons, and this have was schedule this past summer. The North Dakota coach called us about playing, and we said yes.

I relish their hatred. It just gives emphasis to the fact they wish their program had even close to our success.
