State College is hard for Pennsylvanians to get to, much less a glorified G5 team in SMU. Add in 108k seats, Christmas break and the 20% chance you get stranded in the middle of the Allegheny Mountains, and it makes perfect sense why it would be so low.

There is no reason whatsoever Ohio State should be as cheap as they are, however.

Too much of a good thing is no good. It's burning itself out chasing dollars.

CFB fans have already shot their wad. But they'll watch TV, and that's where the big money is anyway.

This forum doesn't even have the fervor it started the season with. Any team. Playoffs or not. Don't tell me different.

It's Christmas time. We've done our football. It was good. If they still want to bleed the turnip, we'll watch TV.

True story.

Oh shove it. I think the on campus part of the CFP is the thing I'm most looking forward to. It just sucks that there aren't any games in real SEC stadiums.

Looks like the all Indiana playoff game, Indiana at Notre Dame the only home playoff garnering a big premium, on Seat Geek only 660 listings, cheapest ticket price is $366 currently

Clemson at Texas, 3100 listings, cheapest ticket price $93 currently

It’s because they’re both in the state of Indiana and travel plans aren’t an issue 1 week in advance

Save up that money so you can go to the Texas Bowl, instead.

tough economy plus people maxed out from spending on Christmas plus too many potential playoffs games to attend for traveling fans means more people watching at home.

A lot more Tennessee fans would have planned th trip had they known tix would be available that cheap. We were told 3500 tix total and didn’t expect OSU fans to make so many seats available for those prices. As it stands I think we will have a great contingent of fans there.

Makes sense, all the OSU fans are saving their money for the next 3 games where they play competent opponents.
