So if UGA plays UT or UTX in the CFP final it will net the conference $40 to $48 million?

Time to put an end to post season revenue sharing IMO.Do playoff schools really wanna subsidize other schools NIL payrolls?
I get the revenue sharing with TV rights...there's really no other equitable way to do it but CFP payouts are a different story.

You guys weren’t bitching when you were taking LSU vs Bama money. Sit down.

Wasn't the NIL era and money wasn't close to $40 million.
ETA and the number could be as high as $48 million.

Does the conference share of bowl revenue from all teams go to nil?
Other teams are splitting their revenue with you as well no matter what in all sports.
Explain how revenue sharing within the conference helps other teams buy players. Thanks.

I propose the following deal: UGA keeps all the money as long as they promise to invest it in keeping their mascot alive longer than 11 months on average

I understand your sentiment, but your post shows you have no idea how NIL and revenue sharing work.

I think it is $50 million
$4 million for each of the 12 teams that makes the College Football Playoff
$4 million for each of the 8 teams that makes the College Football Playoff Quarterfinals
$6 million for each of the 4 teams that makes the College Football Playoff Semifinals
$6 million for each of the 2 teams that makes the College Football Playoff National Championship Game
Additionally, each team who participates in the College Football Playoff receives $3 million to cover expenses for each round.

What is the point of conferences at that point? Everybody go independent, 11 p4 games must be scheduled in order to qualify for cfp. Yay!!!!

It's miniscule compared to CFP payouts but don't have any problem with teams not splitting any type of post season payouts.

Please. The only other significant post season revenue is the NCAA tournament and that money negotiated and controlled by the NCAA and CBB

Seriously? Revenue is revenue. Doesn't matter if it comes from a collective, donations or post season splits.

Statistically speaking, it’s only a matter of time before an Uga is killed by a Georgia football player who is driving drunk or recklessly driving way above the speed limit.
