Honestly doesn't matter if you guys had Tom Brady back there. You don't have the defense to compete at the SEC level and I don't see anything on the short or long term horizons that will change that.
I think the B12 has some openings. You guys might want to call the Pac whatever as well. It doesn't take much to go 6-6 in that league

I don’t feel sorry for any team who goes on a down cycle. These teams can come back quickly pretty quick nowadays with the right coach and portal players like in basketball.
Who saw vandy doing as well as they did this year, not championship level but a team no one wants to play against.
