Alabama for me. In person things are very civil for the most part. Got treated many moons ago to some Hickory smoked fall off the bone ribs with homemade bbq sauce. The sweet yam biscuits were a slam dunk too.

Ole Miss for me. I don't remember what it was that I ate, only that some Ole Miss alums stepped in when some frat boys were trying to pick a fight with me and a friend and took us to their tailgate and fed us and got us liquored up for hours.

The highlight was watching the men boss the wimminfolk around like it was 1962 and their wives served me like I was royalty. Ah the good old days.

The Truth says a Bud Light 18 wheeler parked out front of the Clemson gate, before Bud Light was tranny fluid. The Truth says the truck was opened and help yourself. The Truth enjoyed this when he was underage.

Definitely in Baton Rouge. Hands down my favorite place to visit for an away game. Each tent will “tiger bait” you, in good fun, then invite you in for food. My buddies and I made it a plan to try as many different gumbos as possible and then return to that same tent later. I think we tried like 12-15 recipes. All the food was excellent - those baws can cook.

Surprisingly enough, Wisconsin fans year had some great cooking. One tent was smoking some stuffed pork loin that was fantastic.

But LSU by far has the best

LSU

Walking around back before they had the parking lot across from the vet hospital and it was pastures that you could park in. Many people would be smoking some nice cuisine and freely offered to us Ole Miss fans. One dude made the best porkchop that I have ever had in my life.

LSU by far. I had an aunt & uncle that lived in Plaquemine. They would deep fry a turkey on gameday mornings, along with a huge spread (man she made some killer shrimp pistolettes). Then we visited some of their friends tailgating parties. I was ready to take a nap before kickoff. I sure miss them.

Went to Fort McCoy for cold winter training back in the day (87/88) ... had the time of my life up there when on liberty for a few days.

Yeah, Mizzou is a pretty good tailgate. Several of the tailgates were having a chili cook off this year, and I had the best hatch green chili I ever tasted

Smoked ribs shouldn’t be “falling off the bone”. Don’t be simp bro.

The sweet yam biscuits sound legit though

LSU. Been to a bunch of really good tailgates, especially in the SEC, but for best food it's LSU by far. Andouille sausage, jambalaya, crawfish etouffe. "Woo, I garontee! Slap yo mama delicious!"

A&M is second. Went to a game around Thanksgiving when we were in the Big 12 together. Boys were deep frying turkeys and were very generous with their alcohol. Just don't walk on the grass!
