The the committee can do away with the head to head talking point.

Nah, the goal posts will be moved back in favor of the head to head next year.

They went away with P5 teams winning conference championships while going undefeated. What makes you think the narrative you're clinging to should stick?

They aren't.

The question is.....does Miami fall below the SEC teams?

Bama will be the top 3 loss SEC team.

Ole Miss has an argument to be above Bama but USC does not. Ole Miss' argument over Bama is very weak though so it will be Bama or Miami (maybe SMU if Clemson wins).

It will not be USC.

Could happen. If so, happy for them and hope they kick arse. Same with Ole Miss. We have as good a case as anyone else but we didn't earn shite.

If Miami is still ahead of all of us then I hope they give up 63 points and play the same way they've played the entire season.

But they also stipulated it was because said team was missing their starting qb and that injuries to prominent players would be a factor.

So what's the spin on head to head?

There is plenty. Bama was at home and deserved to lose after botching recovering the onside kick.

Bama hasnt proven to be a road warrior afterall. 1-3?

Toe be fair I wanted to kill everyone on our staff and roster initially and then I watched the replay of the kick and it may have been the most uncatchable onside kick I've ever seen. Mother fricker put some black magic on that damn sidewinder.

If he can guarantee that he'll do that on every kickoff in the playoffs then I say we forfeit our bid and let Carolina go.

I couldn't agree more. If they decide to put South Carolina, or Ole Miss, in over Bama, I'm fine with that.
I wouldn't be surprised to see them put two loss Miami in because that is the easiest path; and I would expect Miami to get boat-raced in the first round wherever they end up. They have zero wins against Top 25 opponents.

Same. Shouldn't have laid a big fat egg in Norman.

what was the reason the committee moved Alabama ahead of Tennessee week 15 in 2022 even though Vols won in Knox?

both teams 10-2 - Tide #5 Vols #6 -

The logo on their helmets...

Remind me, who owned the head to head that year?

Oh Ok.

So the fact that SC had a different QB in the 2nd half vs Lsu shouldn't matter either?

What?

FSU's QB was done for the year took them out of contention(along with a shitty schedule and an already shaky season).

Tennesse's QB was done for the year took them out of contention.

And from that you get this weird idea that you should be given a win over a team because you QB was injured for half of it?

This loss is unfathomable. I can sort of get the Vanderbilt loss coming off the big win over Georgia. I can get losing at UT but losing to a horrible OU team that has absolutely no passing game is a head scratcher.
It's similar to Ohio State's loss to a mediocre Iowa team 55-17 a few years back.
