No soyboy. No fashion fairy.
This is interesting because Texas is the designated home team, yet chooses to wear all white.
Easier to spot receivers? White makes you look bigger? Is there any strategy to this?

I agree that LSU whites should be their "home" jerseys. The purple is cool to do once every few years but the yellow jersey's are hideous.

I remember Tom Landry had a theory - he wanted his team to wear the same unis for every game. He felt changing jerseys was a distraction.
So he opted for the Cowboys to wear the white jerseys at home, and therefore on the road it was always the same uni.
However... a few rivals bucked this system. The Redskins and Cardinals sometimes made the Cowboys were blue as the visiting team.

Texas plays better as a road team, and I'm not exactly sure why.. maybe it's a mental thing.. maybe it's something else.. but the stormtroopers are my favorite uniform.. perhaps the players like it too..
Or maybe he just wants to flip the script from the Texas game in Austin.
I personally would like to wear the stormtroopers in Austin for home games.. at least some of the time.. but Idk if that's ever been discussed..

As an old-school, get off my lawn type fella, I find it odd to say I agree with this. The whites give it an all-business look, let the other team worry about fashion.
However, traditionalists like myself will yell at the clouds and say we should support the burnt orange. I see both points, but I do like the whites.

Texas should have a White Out game at home each year.. this would allow us to spice things up while keeping the traditional uniforms..
