Do we really want Bama to represent the SEC in the playoffs?

People have been trash talking the SEC for a while. The fact is, while we in the SEC know that Bama as we knew it died with Saban, the name “Bama” still carries a ton of weight nationally. Like it or not, they’re still seen as a flagship program of the SEC.
But last year, Bama made it into the playoffs by the skin of their teeth, and then Michigan embarrassed them AND THE CONFERENCE on the national stage. That loss wasn’t just a blow to Bama—it reflected poorly on the entire SEC. And now, if they sneak in again, despite a loss to Vanderbilt of all teams, it feels like we’re setting ourselves up for the same embarrassment.
The SEC has a legacy to protect, and it’s about more than just one program’s reputation. Since Bama isn’t able to hold that mantle anymore, maybe it’s time to give another team the chance to represent us the way the SEC deserves

The committee is putting Bama in. They are basically 100% lock at the moment.

I want my Gamecocks in, they would rep proudly .... but if it's not meant to be I want the SEC to absolutely dominate the CFP.

If the shitty arse Big Ten is getting 4 teams the SEC should get 4.
I am fine with SEC getting 3 if BIG gets 3.
But Indiana and Ohio State getting in while an Alabama Ole Miss or SCAR sitting at home isn’t right.

Indiana is a better team than Bama,
If the CFP committee has any integrity, they will put in South Carolina.
That being said, they had no integrity last season so Bama is probably going to get in.

No but they will be there. The committee is there to ensure that the playoffs draw viewers and Bama will get in for the money.
