Truly unbelievable that there weren't offsetting penalties. Auburn had zero momentum at the time, then they go down and score.

In the game thread, people were cursing #13, but I can't see where he did anything but try to break it up then take punches from 5 different Auburn thugs.

SEC refs suck. They impact the game. They do not decide it, but they impact it. This shite is flat ridiculous with replay.

What I can’t believe is the Auburn player didn’t get an unsportsmanlike and a facemask penalty for taking the db out of bounds by it and continuing.

That was a horribly officiated game. They were holding their a$$es off all game, no call. They were CONSTANTLY in our guys faces and running their mouths. Constantly pushing and shoving, no call.

The penalty on Ryan Williams for supposedly calling for a fair catch and running with the ball was complete and utter bull shite. As a former Texas HS ref, this situation was pounded into our heads. If the returner doesn't clearly wave his hand either over his head or at least the over the shoulder level, it's NOT a fair catch and that returner can get blasted by the defense. FYI-Texas HS football uses NCAA football rules.

The incompetence and clear agendas of most of these crews is so obvious. Something has got to be done.

And if he had gotten blown up and fumbled there is no doubt in my mind they'd have arrived at the opposite conclusion. You could hear the frustration in the voice of the ref on the broadcast. He very clearly thought those guys are incompetent and usually the ref they have on the broadcast will become the Simone Biles of mental gymnastics to justify anything the crew on the field does.

Officiating was garbage at Bama game yesterday.
And its not just Bama games - it’s gotten worse and worse even within this year. Something MUST be done to fix it. Conference leaders need to quit counting bullion and bring some accountability to officiating.
