Bowling Green was the last time an A&M opponent got a holding call

Been 30 quarters of football now. Pretty brutal.

Hopefully the league realizes we’re the only chance for a fourth SEC playoff team now and encourages the zebras to open their eyes.

If the league is about money, A&M will get the calls. If the league is about bias favorites we won’t.

The league makes 25 percent more money if we win the SEC.

Math facts are hard facts.

Imagine being an aggy fan,

-watching bama take itself off the mountain top,

-watching agg finally go better’n 8-4 and make it to the second cg*…..thinking ‘now is our time’.

Then watching aggy beg for the LeBron treatment by refs/REC,

——all while Alabama is posting about refs at the same time.

This must be hard for you.

I didn’t read it as begging. Just being hopeful.
It’s a fact we haven’t had a single hold called in 7.5 games. Objectively, that’s a statistical improbability.

Clearly some bias is occurring.

Over Georgia? Over Texas?

It’s simple. If we have Texas Georgia and Tennessee in that’s less money than Texas Georgia Tennessee and A&M.

The only way 4 happens is with an A&M championship. I’m not saying it’s going to happen.

I’m saying this is business and they want to have 4 teams in if possible.

Haven't seen the stats but anecdotally holding calls seem way, way down the last two years.

I suspect there's been a directive to only call egregious holds to keep the flow of the game going.

Either way it's gotta be calculated and strategic, right?

It can't just be the officials calling a ball game.

Is there any way to start a post about the objective fact that an Aggie opponent hadn’t been called for a hold in 7.5 games that isn’t “begging for the LeBron treatment?”

4 teams are getting in, just maybe not the 4 you think...

Does this include holding calls the Aggies declined?

Doubt the refs get involved but we’ll see plenty of these in Aggie town Saturday night.

Ok. I thought you were talking about money from the SEC CCG not the CFP. Yes of course 4 gets more money than 3.

Stop deluding yourself, South Carolina is a much better chance for the 4th spot

You realize that we’ve only played 11 games right? That’s over 2/3 of A&M games never having a holding call called against the other team.

If it was “just refs calling the game” it would be close to half or a coin flip if it was even bias. It’s not.

I’ve got two degrees in math buddy and this isn’t a natural occurrence. It’s bias.

And it’s also why Vegas is making bank on the Aggies. The spread was 2.5 Auburn. No one won that bet on either side except Vegas.

Someone knows something that isn’t normal.

I’m not complaining about the outcomes. I’m simply saying someone is cooking the books.

You think that's bad? For almost a decade, Alabama's opponents were averaging a holding call once every 260 plays against defensive lines that would make Greek gods shite their Chitons.

Does A&M actually think they are so important that every SEC crew would decide to not call holding penalties on them while still calling them on everyone else? Like really?

More likely that the vaunted DL actually just isn't good enough to require opposing teams to hold as much.
