Boise State being ranked that high is just wrong.

The only P4 teams they played they lost to. I’m all for giving programs a chance but that devalues the competition.

So, when we beat #20 A&M next weekend they will likely fall out of the Top 25 and become unranked. Then we will hear the catcalling of “Texas didn’t beat any ranked teams but lost to one, they don’t deserve the SECCG even if they are 11-1”

This playoff is going to suck and if somehow Bama got in, it would make it a hell of a lot worse.

Pedo State at #4 is a huge *facepalm* for me. Guess the memories of Sandusky diddling kids in the shower and grandpa JoePa looking the other way are fond memories for the voters and they really want to see them succeed?

Meh. They both beat UGA, but Ole Miss' 3 losses are worse than Bama's. Another common opponent is LSU who Bama handled and OM lost to. The OM home loss to Kentucky looks really bad too. Way worse than Bama losing to Vandy on the road. UK is 1-7 in conference...

I know a few SMU people here in DFW and they have money for sure. In fact many of them had money before they even went to school there. Us, aggy and BloU could find ourselves in some real recruiting battles in the near future.

They just ponied up for Lashlee too. I think he is one of the hot coaching names here in the near future. He is 20-4 over the past 2 seasons at SMU. The details of his extension haven't been released yet, but they were paying him peanuts (2.3MM/yr I think) before the extension.
They hit the ground running when joining the ACC unlike his mentor, Gus, who has sputtered in the BigXII.
