If a miracle doesnt happen to win that game, things would look much different right now. This malaise isnt new. There was no coaching staff that was gonna come in and fix it. There is no scenario where the shitheads complaining about the coach staff tonight wouldnt be complaining.
We gotta support the staff until they get their players in. The roster is just not good. The last year's team that was pretty mediocre in most of its game...the best players are gone to the NFL or playing for another school.
A 4th and 500 hail mary masked the fact that Alabama went in and played like shite against a terrible Auburn team. This program needs better players

At least that Bama team had a chance to win the game on the last play. This Bama team just got blown out by a team that was 1-5 in SEC play

Well pardon me for being a bit more forgiving for a first year in the program coach as opposed to a coach in his 17th year.

The talent level will just get worse from here.
The schedule set up for a 11-1 record at worse. That is what Saban would have had.

Staff made decisions this year that will impact future years.

Team not prepared.
Coaching wasn't good.
O line wasn't good.
Qb was awful.
Defense not physical enough/out of position.
Punter sucked.
Refs sucked with the worst call I've seen in my life probably.
This team is soft, weak, and undisciplined. Look at the penalties, especially at the wrong time, or the actions of some like Moore.
Also, some on here are talking about how much talent is on this team. Is it really that talented??? Malachi had been nonexistent for 2 years. Milroe not a good qb. O line talks big, but isn't very good. Lbs aren't special. Nothing impressive in db's. The only real talent is Williams. I just think the talent may not be that great.
And lastly...i think the state of this whole team can be summed up with Milroe, being a captain and supposedly leader, throwing an INT, partly because of the receiver not blocking but he also didn't look, and he chewed the receiver out. The Milroe flat out throws a terrible INT, and instead of making the tackle, hitting him out of bounds, pushing him, anything!! Milroe tried to trip him. He tried to trip him. And that's the Leader of the team?!?!? There's the problem.

I dont concede this at all. I saw clear running holes that were there...that were missed and instead the runner ran backwards. I saw open receivers...drop passes. I saw open receivers...not getting the ball thrown to them. I saw defensive players in position that didnt make the play.
Could game plan have been better...maybe. Would a perfect plan have won this game...probably not. The team just needs better players that make better decisions

Talent isn't the issue. We've talented players. It's coaching and development.
Does OU have more talent than Bama? Or did the coaches game plan better? Did the OU players want it more?
I just don't think Deboer has it in him to be inspirational. He's stated that he doesn't like to give those talks, that he likes a player led team.
Obviously he's here whether or not I want him at Bama. So hopefully he can improve on what I've seen so far. Otherwise he won't be here long.

Well, he doesn't need a team led by a guy who tries to trip a guy returning his INT, instead of making the tackle.

How many recruits have we lost in the last couple of weeks? The fact that there's probably still more to come and the there is a distinct possibility more players are gonna jump in the portal is going to put the talent level here at a low we haven't had to deal with in years. You honestly think filling roster spots with MAC spares is going improve things ?

He absolutely doesn't...guess who can sit said guy?
Not arguing, just conversation

You sure?
Saban was a miracle play away from losing to a dogshit Auburn team last year.
Saban had to hold off a 4 win Arkansas team to escape an upset last year.
Saban was blown out by the very Texas team that Deboer beat last year (and the prior year).
Saban had a 7 point lead heading into the 4th over South Florida last year.
So give me a list of coaches that would take that same Milroe-led team, minus the likes of Downs, Bond, Amos, Turner, Arnold, Roydell, Burton, Niblack, etc. and go 11-1 when Saban himself struggled with four abysmal teams the prior year.
Some of you guys are clearly overestimating this team's market value.

The 09 Alabama team struggled to beat Auburn in JHS. Alabama winning in JHS is very hard, only the best Alabama teams escape that place with a win. That same Alabama team barely beat a average Tennessee team that year.
Point is, Alabama won those games under Saban. Deboer is losing to 5 and 6 loss teams. Something that hasn't happened since 07.

All I know is, something is going on within the program that needs to be fixed. That was the worst game I’ve seen Bama play in twenty years. Everything starts at the top. If there are problems the head coach has to fix them. Internally, this player led shite will not work when the leaders are not doing it themselves. Talk, saying the right things to media is that, just talk. Get your arse out there and show me. Save that talking for your girl.

Kalen Dubose needs to get things together quickly.

The talent level will just get worse from here.
