Based on the horrors I have seen this year and last, he is not the right person for this job. If we can’t do any better, might as well close down the football program and spend more on baseball and basketball.

This is so dumb, it’s a freaking MAJOR rebuild and you faggots are wanting him fired already. Do you even pay attention to recruiting? Hugh needs at least 2 more years.

Wow. The level of retardation in this thread is astounding. The guy is recruiting lights out and may have the worst roster anyone on this board has been alive to witness. Give the guy another year or two. When his freshman are juniors, they’ll be a force.

We are building and growing. Won 3 of our last 4. Recruiting is going well and Hugh need players.
Needs a transfer QB. With an average QB, we beat at least 3 of Arkie, Cal, Oklahoma, Mizzou and Vandy. 5-6 turns to 8-3.

We just beat a top 15 team and was forced to go get a kicker that last played for Birmingham Southern! I don't know what's wrong with a lot of our fans, but reality isn't something that they grasp easily. Hugh Freeze hasn't even finished his 2nd season, and a lot of our fans fans are incapable of looking at a damn roster and being able to see the glaring fact that this team is devoid of meaningful upper classmen, true freshmen growing into the speed, size, and ability of this level of football, and transfers plugging giant holes.
Speaking of transfers, just take a look at the transfers that start then take a look at who their backups are. QB is a glaringly obvious example, but there is a ton more. Takes some time to build your house back after it burns down, and we seem to be ahead of schedule.

Not someone always looking scared like they wanna cry and depressed all the time like he has something wrong with him.
He tried his best to give the game away last night and if A&M made wide open catches he absolutely would have.
HOPEFULLY, this game gives him confidence and some swag.

You continuing to say "We gonna be good soon" is no different than the people who dont think we are.
Both have evidence that they are right. Only time will tell. I personally still remain Hugh is a shite game day coach and believe in the end, he will not be able to elevate Auburn to a higher level on the field.
But for now, I will enjoy the only good ending we have had in 4 season.
