Texas has beat exactly one ranked team: ONE

and that would be Vandy who is ranked #25. Texas won that game by a whopping 3 points. I'm thinking A&M is gonna expose them as exactly what they are: frauds.

how is that even possible with a sec schedule

We are so sorry this league is easier than the Big 12

Damn, the SEC must be pretty shite then.

Imagine your signature win being at 6-6 Vandy.
Oof.
Oof.

Unlikely Michigan or Oklahoma finish anywhere near the top 25. Michigan could if it wins out I guess. Preseason hype does not result in a quality win.

Isn’t aTm’s only ranked win over Mizzou?

In the B12 we would have played more but we went for the easiest path to the Natty.

If Meatchicken doesn't beat Northwestern this weekend, 2 of those wins will be against teams that failed to qualify for a bowl.

Well we thought LSU was a quality win.

Texas has zero wins against ranked teams..
Texas has 2 wins against teams with a winning record.
Texas is 0-1 against the only team it has played that is currently ranked.

Texas has been a strange team, there are times I watch them and they look like an offensive juggernaut then look very underwhelming. Ewers seems to be highly inconsistent at times.I watched them play Arkansas and just came away with "Very beatable".

OU has a better “quality” win than tx. We beat now #20 Tulane.

Michigan is currently 5-5 and not ranked
OU is currently 5-5 and not ranked
UGA is currently 8-2 and ranked... but Texas lost.
Vandy is currently 6-4 and is not ranked.
A&M is currenlty 8-2 and ranked... but texas hasn't played them yet.
Texas has no wins against ranked teams. The ranking at the time of the game does not matter. FSU was ranked to start the season. That doesn't mean FSU is a ranked win for Georgia Tech and Boston College. FSU is a 1-9 team this year. An inaccurate ranking doesn't mean you beat a good team.
Texas needs to beat A&M. If they don't they could very well get left out of the playoff because they might end the season with zero wins against a team with a winning record, let alone ranked (at least for major opponents... maybe one of their cupcakes has a winning record).

the Vandy game was't really that close, we kinda let them back in at the end, and we only lost one game and it was an upset against an inferior georgia team.

They avoided Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss...and even LSU (don't laugh...just ask Ole Miss)...

One thing that can be said about Texas, is we haven't lost one that we should've won. Even the best teams can blow one, and we've managed the ugly win over the embarrassing loss.
