Am I missing something here? Does Arkansas really have a shot to stay within two TDs?

The hate for Texas in the swine heart is real. The stadium will be rocking- this is their Hog Super Bowl and teeth will be out.
Not sure which QB shows up or what theyre planning to do on defense, but I can absolutely see this being a closer game than what's on paper.

To be fair, Texas hasn't beat any team currently ranked in the AP Top 25...

Our hatred for Texas is at a all time high... over the past 5 years we have been invaded by Texans looking to flee their peice of shite state for a better life and we have had to deal with these assholes on a daily basis. Because of them, the cost of living here is much higher, traffic is terrible and the wrose part is, we have to actually talk to these pricks. Therefore, we expect to smash them on Saturday.

Everything above is true, accept we lose by 30.

Did Arkansas really have a chance to stay within 2 TDs of Tennessee?

We’re 5-2 against them since 2000.

We’re about to be 6-2.

Should be 6-1 if Matt Jones doesn't fumble the damn ball.

The only win they've had was Bobby's first year starting 19 freshmen

But you did get your asses beat by Georgia - the only currently ranked AP team you've played.

if you can't figure out the difference between losing to a top 10 team and losing to kentucky then I can't really help you.

It depends on which of Quinn Ewers split personalities shows up to be honest.... If his usual self shows up then Texas should cover if his $ewer$ mongoloid persona shows up then the hogs will cover easily if not win outright.

Fortunately he tends to do better on the road in hostile environments so I remain hopeful we will get some much needed vengeance on the pigs.

Arkansas is a mediocre team

Game is on the road

Texas is talented but has issues, they looked unbeatable against a god awful Florida team but against a team with a pulse will probably see some of their issues

2 tds is about right

Hostile environments are awesome on the road. Never played before fanboys just don't get it when they boast about how loud their concrete idiot box is.

They're at home, had an extra week to prepare(also probably prepared for the game all offseason), pissed after Ole Miss boatracing, offensive strength is the run game which is Texas' defensive weakness, they have a running qb which the Texas scheme is vulnerable against(see Pavia), and the defense they ran against Tennessee is a good scheme vs Texas. Didn't work vs Ole Miss because they have an elite down field passing attack which Texas lacks. Pretty much everything favors Arkansas keeping it closer than you'd expect

You’d think they would tell austin to piss up a rope since they made it out of the shithole…. Be careful, those are the kind of folks that voted blue the last 5 cycles.

You need to blame all that on Sam Walton.

I accept your prediction. Best thing about this game is that someone loses. Arkansas can be a tough team mid season but they usually give up around this time of year.

My only concern, and I do mean *only*, is that Arky beat Tenner. How in hades that happened I have no idea.

Without that slight head scratcher, this would easily be another 45-14 game for Texas. And it may still be.

Speaking strictly from the gambling prospective, home underdogs in SEC games have been a gold mine this season. Load up on the Hogs.

I hear you. I do realize that on any given day, especially with the passion Arkansas has for beating up on UT, that the Hogs could just outright win the thing. I may have worded my question poorly. I guess I was really asking about that line. Even as a Hog fan, it has to seem a little short.
