For me, it's an easy answer. Milroe hitting his check downs...especially hitting the backs out of the backfield. Milroe still missed a few but overall, I think he did outstanding. Pass protection was near the best this year also.
2 things on the other side of the ball. The defensive backfields coverage was the best this year and the coordinator opening up the blitz packages.

I liked the offense playing to their strengths instead of looking for home run passes every play, and I liked the defense actually blitzing constantly.

We ran the ball for 311 yards, maybe we found an identity

A true QB draw as opposed to the designed runs we’ve used all year. LSU didn’t know what to do,

It was the most complete game we've played in about 2 years. That was Alabama football.

That little LSU slithering serpent, Carville, needs a welfare check because both, his candidate and his football team, were destroyed in the same week

The Alabama-LSU winner and Presidential election winner have only broken script twice in the last 50 plus years. In 2016 and 2024.

How quiet it was ..

( And the improvement along the LOS, overall, to not mess up - when it wasn't quiet)

Milroe is inconsistent as shite, and the stuff he does well, he only does sometimes. It's hard to build a stable offense around him.

Now with that out of the way, the mental discipline and reduction in road penalties was really good to see. This was the most encouraging part of the game.

We were 7 penalties for 74 yards against LSU and 15 for 115 yards against Tennessee. That's a major reduction.

The loud rammer jammer at the end of the game.
The nuclear meltdown on the whisky and wine show after the game.

There were no yelling at the other team - no jawing for the first time this year.

The left guard gave the signal for the center to snap the ball - great communication there. After the first false start, it was smooth.

Basically disciplined behavior was there where it hasn’t been all year.

I agree...the check downs were great to see. Hopefully we keep them in our offense.

We crammed the ball down their throat and they couldn’t stop it.

Good performance from the defense.
