Is what?

One loss teams:
Texas
Texas A&M
Tennessee

Two loss teams that Bama doesn't already hold the tiebreaker against:
Ole Miss

Bama holds the head to head tie breaker with Georgia, LSU, and Missouri.

Texas plays A&M.
Tennessee plays Georgia

Those are the games that will determine the conference game teams.

I'm assuming we need Georgia to beat Tennessee, not sure who we need between Texas and A&M.

Not sure the tiebreaker between Ole Miss and Alabama.

Obviously, Bama must win out.

It’s opponent record. Texas or Texas A&M doesn’t matter unless you have an opponent preference if the winner wins out, we just need Georgia to beat Tennessee and we’re in the drivers seat

Do yall think both teams who reach the SECCG make the playoff no matter the result?

Unfortunately the SEC CG is about to become as irrelevant as the baseball and basketball SECCG.

If both of those teams have no out of conference losses (so LSU and A&M could be the exceptions if they made SECCG and lost), then yes.

Would be a terrible precedent to not take the 2 top SEC teams.

I agree. I would prefer to be whatever we are 5-8 and have a home game playoff host.

As of right now:

1) Winner of A&M vs Texas
2) If UGA beats TN and Bama wins out Bama goes
If TN beats UGA, TN goes

All of that assumes none of those teams lose a game not mentioned.

Yep. UGA is going to be a tough team after that loss. UT catching them at a bad time. I hope they win though.

Too many people are confusing Tennessee with a good team.

Depends on which Beck shows up. If it's the one who throws multiple INTs and looks rattled in general they might lose. If it's the one who doesn't do those things they'll win by 2+ TDs.

It may come to style points and how badly Tennessee loses to be exposed.

Here's to an angry Bulldog.

Their defense is solid. As is their RB

They are not an elite team but they can be a challenging one

It looked like Nico got banged up in the first half.

Texas A&M beats Texas, then plays Texas again for the SEC championship, loses to Texas.

My hunch is the SECCG will be a "winner gets a bye in the first round" game. The unknown is whether losing when in the host first-round game position means you fall out of host position.

Furthermore, will playing a tough SEC team for a bye in the CFP be worth it compared to getting most of December off to mend and playing a likely lower ranked out of conference team? You're playing 4 games no matter what and generally speaking I'd rather be playing Miami before Christmas than Texas at the start of December.

Why would we want to be in that game and risk a 3rd loss?

I want the SECCG and believe we can take anyone on any given night. Or lose. Team looks locked in as of right now though. I say go get the bye and oh yeah the SEC title.

If UGA beats UTk and finishes 10-2, how do they not go over us?
