If bama wins out from here

They make the playoffs. Should be doable, we know both how good and bad we can play (sometimes in the same game). That would mean a win against Georgia, LSU, and Auburn in year one, plus whatever happens in the playoff (could get hot again, never know). I would take that for year 1, with a Jekyll and Hyde QB and a bunch of penalty magnet knuckleheads.

If we win out we’re hosting a playoff game

Would be an amazing feat considering how we have played. Not sure I see it though

Oh come on, we’re favored @ LSU and will be heavily favored in the final 3.

Also favored against Vandy and TN... both road games

Inconsistent quarterback play and typical transition year play make me skeptical, too. Nothing is a guarantee with this team. It’s a talented team but inconsistent.

Not sure when that happened this season unless you are referring to the one quarter against UGA.

Id say we were a Top 5 team in September
1. 56-0 over WKU
2. Eventually pulling away from USF
3. Blowout at Wisconsin
4. Beating UGA
Were we perfect? No but we were pretty good

I think that's fairly obtainable with no more blemishes (and not having an SEC championship game). Only need to move basically 3 spots. My fear though is ..beating LSU and Mercer to get to 5..6. And the lose to OK or AU and drop to 13

37.5 pt favorites vs Western Kentucky, won by 63 (+25.5)
33.5 pt favorites vs South Florida, won by 26 (-7.5)
15.5 pt favorites @ Wisconsin, won by 32 (+16.5)
1.5 pt underdogs vs Georgia, won by 7 (+8.5)
22.5 pt favorites @ Vanderbilt, lost by 5 (-27.5)
19.5 pt favorites vs South Carolina, won by 2 (-17.5)
3.5 pt favorites @ Tennessee, lost by 7 (-10.5)
16.5 pt favorites vs Missouri, won by 34 (+17.5)
We are averaging outperforming the spread by 0.6 pts per game this year. We've also been +/- double digits against it in 6 of our 8 games.
First 4 games (4-0) : outperformed by 10.8
Next 3 games (1-2) : underperformed by 18.5
Last game (1-0) : outperformed by 17.5

Here’s the problem: we will have more penalty yards than rush yards Saturday night in Death Valley. Book it. We will probably set a school record for false starts.
It’s one thing to have a rough first road game or two in the SEC, but you adjust and clean it up. This bunch has shown no ability whatsoever to make adjustments to stop dumb, unnecessary penalties. If DeBoer thought Neyland was loud and disruptive, he’s going to shite himself Saturday night. Don’t mean to sound negative but the stupid mistakes continue with little improvement. By now, Alabama has earned the reputation with the officials as penalty prone so we’re not getting any benefit of the doubt, and that is just compounding a bad situation.

There fans will be leaving in the third quarter, it’ll be quiet in the fourth.

I agree. Winning Saturday Night would be a huge win on the Road in the SEC.

Truth. If this team manages to pull it together and eliminate all of the boneheaded mistakes then they could beat anyone!

Honestly the idea of going to like Penn State or something would be sick. Some cool possible matchups

Winning tonight is gonna be a tall order. All the same issues Bama has had all season...are still here. The QB cant be relied on, the RBs are just average and the D is still playing several true freshmen.

This staff just doesn't do a good job getting ready for these games. I hope to see something different tonight, but I don't have high hopes.
