The weather detectives on the OT are slowly losing their minds about this potential storm

Could a cancellation benefit both teams for playoff purposes?

We aren't Florida! We don't let rain stop us.

10-2 > 9-2

Also 6-2 > 5-2

It would probably end both of your
seasons. We like to call this “sorting itself out”.

Also LSU > Ole Miss and this was sorted out on the field. So I believe we would still be ahead of you.

Couldn't they just move the game to Tuscaloosa ?

I have to correct myself, because LSU would be 6-1 in conference and potentially be catapulted into the SECCG as a result if there only team w a record better than 7-1 which is possible. But I think they’d have to win, 9-3 probably wouldn’t cut it.

Could be an interesting game, both teams are just awful at running the football

I'm sure AU fans would have been happy with a canceled game against Vandy.

The last thing LSU would want to do is cancel a night game against Alabama.

Either way it's not great for LSU. Fan advantage will be lowered if it is storming all day Saturday and during the game. LSU's run game is no where near as good as Bama's, high octane passing game will be limited, etc.

Stay away, Rafael.

Agreed. This bodes well for bama. I could see a cancellation if it got bad enough

It's not a threat. We'll post and put the smackdown on Alabama. Book it!
