What has happened to LSU's Physical MO?

Forever, LSU has been known as an extremely physical football team. A&M felt it for many years after joining the SEC. I remember watching LSU absolutely dominate A&M on the LOS and in the open field.
Fast forward to recent years, and it does my heart good how much the script has flipped. LSU is soft. Both lines for A&M whipped the shite out of LSU. Over 200 yards rushing vs. ~20 yards. Your 1st round offensive tackles were revolving doors.
Is this a Brian Kelly issue? Has he historically had soft teams? This would highly concern me as an LSU fan - physical football has always been synonymous with LSU and they have been Charmin soft under your coach.

Did they? A&M couldn't do anything on offense until Reed came in, and LSU was playing two 3 star defensive tackles in the middle.
As for the run game, that's been a common theme this year.
This physical dominance thing is revisionist history, LSU just had no answer for Reed.

A&M barely touched Nuss, until it became obvious passing situations every down.

Come on man.
They beat us up front.
How do you doubt that?
ETA:
Aggy had 245 rush yards
We had 24 rush yards

Hurries are a thing too...I'm sure that you would have been happier with an extra 3 sacks instead of those interceptions. On all 3 of them he was under pressure.

It's like they switched to Nerf Foam plates in the weight room.

Would love to see the amount of QB hurries/flushed from pocket/sacks by quarter.
But LSU being in obvious passing situations didn't help.

You can't be serious. Were LSU's WRs better than our DBs on quick routes? Yes absolutely. But you couldn't run the ball or stop the run essentially the entire game.

Nuss was ready to quit by the end of the game. And almost all downs were obvious passing downs - you averaged one yard per rush.

The 5 lowest graded players on LSU's offense were the 5 linemen...

Roughly 150 of A&M's rushing yards came after Reed was inserted.
Prior to Reed, A&M was averaging roughly 3.7 yards per carry which is good but hardly dominant.

Yes, they pretty much did.

No doubt.
On the first pick, he was flushed from pressure up the middle and ran to his left and made a terrible decision. Should have thrown it away instead of throwing (somewhat) across his body.
Second pick, he had a clean pocket overall, ball was out by the time any rushers were free, the corner just jumped the route.
Third pick, the defender rushed and then dropped into coverage. I don't think Nuss could see the A&M player from where he was. Great play by the defense.

Yes, good job of baiting by York.

Looking at PFF, Campbell and the backup LG were graded poorly as well as DT Paris Shand.
DT's Suggs and Paez were 2 of LSU's top 3 graded players.

It happens when you have to rebuild half a roster from scratch. You have to take what you can get before you get back to top tier

1st pick - Nuss was trying to be Mahomes.. Nice play by the defender, but it was mostly just a really bad pass. should have thrown that one away.. that play changed the whole game.
2nd pick - CB shows man and switches to zone.. Great D. Impressive play.
3rd pick - LB shows blitz then gets lost in the shuffle and is waiting to pick the RB screen.. probably is spying the QB as well.. again, great Defense.

I love reading your posts after your autistic hard-wiring has stopped working.
You lost. LSU isn't as good as you think. They will probably beat Bama. Go touch grass.
Also, take a shower

Are LSU fans really still using this in Kelly's third year?
