No thanks. He can't get two historical Bluebloods over the hump and his teams crumble in their biggest games across his entire career. He would not do well here at all and is not a good fit, I'd say.
Besides, LSU can't afford to fire him for a couple years minimum.

If you could find a guy who can run elbows and buddy up the names we all know like Nutt, while taking a hands off approach for both sides of the ball like Pittman that's your guy.
Actually Nutt would have been perfect for the NIL era, if his ego was able to let go of control of the offense (it's not). Kisses all the right asses in the right way, excellent game day motivator.

He would suck here. You need to be a good coach at Arkansas to succeed here and he has never beaten opponents that have more talent than him.

First of all, LSU ain’t going to fire him. They are 6-2 right now and will probably make the playoff as an at-large.
