1. You have to feel pretty good about it after watching them struggle with a running QB in the 2nd half. Milroe ran all over them last year. SC ran wild on them earlier this year. They struggle with mobile QB’s.

2. Defense wild be tested. Especially the back end. They have some talented receivers. We’ve played subpar QB’s the last couple weeks. This is the game we see how far the defense has come.

3. We’ve struggled on the road. Let’s be honest. And I’m sure it will be wild down there at night in what’s basically a playoff elimination game. Can’t have all the penalties. Especially false starts. Bama is better on special teams.

I mean LSU isn’t that great defensively but it looked to me like they just got reverse Tua’d where they had a gameplan for a pocket guy and when A&M made the switch to a mobile guy they couldn’t switch gears in time and eventually the momentum on the road got away from them.

What’s funny is they have to already have a game plan for Bama/Milroe. Baker could’ve just ripped the wrapper off that and probably would’ve been 90% prepared.

Gonna be a much different story on the road at night likely with two weeks to prep.

If Milroe plays like he did Saturday we have a good shot, but it’s Death Valley at night, I expect penalties and mistakes.

There is a chance we are at 230 and Georgia Ole Miss is the ABC night game. Fingers crossed there

My fear is that yesterday's game will fill our guys with overconfidence. Yes, we desperately needed that win and they played pretty well but they're gonna have to be even better in two weeks.

IMO, the key is going to be getting pressure on Nuss. Easier said than done because LSU has a good O line. If they can't get to him, they've all gotta get those arms up to deflect a pass or bat it down. Absolutely cannot let him get comfortable out there.

I'd love to see more consistency from our O line. If and when they're effective, I think they can move the ball on anyone.

The #1 thing will be for Milroe not to make back breaking mistakes. He did pretty well yesterday. Hopefully he'll continue that.

Honestly, we are still having problems in the passing game. We need a bye week because the qb and receiver are still not on the same page sometimes. Bad routes, poor throws, combination of the two, and then sometimes the linemen just lose badly at the snap.

Focus on running the ball and go over the top when the defense moves to stop the run and Alabama wins easily.

Have Milroe try to be Mac Jones and Alabama loses.

It's really simple.

Until we play well on the road in a big stadium with this quarterback I’m not going to just expect it.

Milroe is a front runner. When things are going good to great around him, he plays good to great. When things aren’t, he is a deer in the headlights. Despite the resounding win yesterday he still left a ton of plays on the field. One terrible throw to Williams immediately comes to mind, an accuracy issue. Another play where he scrambled for 2-3 yards when Williams was down field and there wasn’t a defender within 25 yards of him, a processing issue. He still is who he is. I’m not going to think he’s just turned a corner in a week because he didn’t play like a walk on.

LSUs qb is going to force it into tight windows and give his receivers a chance down the field. It’s risk reward depending on how the defender plays, but he’s not going to just hang onto the ball. Our secondary will face their biggest test of the season in BR. 12 penalties for 85 yards against that team will get us beat. 3/14 on third down will get us beat. We have a lot to clean up in the bye week.

I expect a shootout so our offense had better be clicking from the start.

LSU feels like they didn't run the ball to take pressure off Nuss, so I'm sure they'll be preparing 2 weeks to be physical and establish the run. Obviously we need to do the same thing. We need true dual threat Milroe to show up.

Yep. Milroe was still off on some of his throws. He missed Williams by five yards on a third down pass in the fourth quarter when Williams was wide arse open. This has to stop. Positive steps were taken yesterday. But there is so much to clean up. The defense played well yesterday. Yes, I know that Missouri was limited. But we have a lot of talent on that side of the ball. I was also impressed with the special teams units.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, you’re probably right. I would love to be proven wrong though.

I think we are the better team and should win.

No reason our guys should be intimidated by Tiger Stadium. We own LSU there.

QB play is the wild card because both are capable of abysmal play.

Bama needs Nuss to play like he did last night and that is Out of Control. He plays like Baker Mayfield on steroids

LSU has the receivers, and we need them to drop some for us.

That #2 on offense for LSU is a sure fire NIL tittie baby.
