If Bama played as good as they did today against Vandy and Tennesse they would be be undefeated? Sure Mizzou is not that good and they had qb issues, but i think we played well on defense and didnt make as many stupid mistakes on offense (though we still had our share), and neither Vandy or Tennessee is all that good either. Would be quite a different outlooks sitting at 8-0, in the top 5 probably.

If Alabama had Marc Guillon at QB, we beat Tennessee by three scores.

False

Missouri had zero offense, they were not a challenge.

Game was very tight until cook went out

If the D has played this way, meaning the D had made stops on 3rd down and were able to get the D off the field like today, obviously things would be different. However, the D may have been able to do that today because of how bad Mizzou was on O.

I’m not convinced this win today in any way translates into a win against LSU. I wouldn’t read that into it.

False they played a handicapped offense. Didn't do shite for 9/10 of the first half. Then went they actually lost their starting QB they gave up

I don't think we can take a lot from beating a short-handed Missouri at home. Their offense sucks even when they have their best qb, rb, and wr.

In the Vandy and Tennessee games we couldn’t play complimentary football. Against Vandy, the defense was the big problem. Against Tennessee the defense looked improved and played pretty well but just couldn’t hang on with the offense being totally inept. When both sides can play decently, we look pretty good.

Missouri doesn’t have elite wide receivers and didn’t have a good QB.

Luther Burden was like a top 2 receiver in the country in the 2022 recruiting class.

You take a win and build from it

But they're was a still a lot of issues. Fortunately Pyne helped significantly.
Road trip without starting QB and RB. Make life really difficult

Or an offense for that matter. But there were some good moments today - like those shown with a few minutes left, on the sidelines. So the thing I'm more interested in is the players & coaching mindset against LSU at Death Valley. You know it will be at night - with magical, fairy dust and piss cups.

Our boys better be ready, and play like historical LSU does when it's win, ... or the seasons over.

Absolutely false. We lose to Tennessee easily with how inaccurate Milroe was and how bad our OL was today.

Mizzou didn’t meet the “freeze point” (if you know, you know).

Drew Pyne couldn't beat Tyler Buchner for the QB position at Notre Dame.

Yes, the same Tyler Buchner who looked like he was trying to be a cricket bowler instead of a quarterback when he played in the USF game in 2023.

If Cook is out for the season, Mizzou is beyond cooked and this win will basically have no resume value. At least this game is in the W column...
