If DeBoer went nuclear on this team to change the culture now, would you support it?

I'm talking ripping up the roots. Sitting anyone who has been even close to a cancer, telling those who get mad about it to walk or sit themselves. Play the guys that care about the TEAM, maybe get smacked in Tiger Stadium. Maybe lose in Norman. Maybe beat Auburn. I'd be fine.

Personally, I'd rather end the year proud that we didn't give in to the BS players who are losing anyways! I would publicly make it clear if I was CKD what I was doing too! That he is playing TEAM guys and sitting selfish players because we want guys who care about ALABAMA. Honestly, IDGAF about an "upset" of LSU or whatever some of these guys can give us if it means sacrificing what makes me root for MY SCHOOL.

Yep, but I would totally support it. I will say, a loss to Missouri might completely change things.

I don't know if yelling & threatening these guys is the most effective way to go about it.

Imo, if Milroe starts to shite the bed Saturday, sending him to the bench is about as powerful a message as you can send.

Personally, I would have gone into the first QB meeting this week & made it known to all of them that there will be a change made if things don't get better.

I think we have a weak coach that happened to win a weak conference that no longer exists and a Sugar bowl and was blown out in the national championship. He knows as long as he doesn’t break any rules or laws he gets $70 million dollars. He isn’t rocking any boats. My God all of the trouble makers are captains, his judgement is terrible.

You can bet Saban had input on the captains.

I would but 90% of Bama fans wouldn’t. They just can’t fathom that Saban sewed these seeds. It’s a testament to just how good of a coach Saban was that things didn’t fall off the rails earlier.

I'll support whatever, for now. For sure. Nuclear gutting or not.

I'm not gonna be the fan that makes a big stink just because the times have changed. I'm gonna be happy as hell and grateful for all the things I've gotten to witness, and I'm going to USE what I learned during the last 17 years and observe a broad view for now while analyzing what I see.

The reality is that ALL coaches can only do their best work when they're not fking focused on our dumbasses. They need to feel 100% free to do their job the way they see fit.

Eat some food during the game. Relax. Enjoy the season.

If stress is ALL this sport gives you, I understand, but there's more to all of this than just freaking out when the chips aren't stacked at a perfectly comfortable height.

Yep. A total boss move would be to tell the QB room that TS and Jalen are going to split first team reps this week and watch the team's reaction. Which player's take note, which players get excited, and which players mope.

I’d support it, but it doesn’t matter whether I would or wouldn’t because it’s not going to happen.

Deboer is soft and weak. He’s not going to make any tough decisions. Just ask Malachi.

If you’re waiting on Deboer to go “nuclear” and make tough decisions to right the ship, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment and frustration.

He doesn't have to look or act tough. People are so caught up in appearances.

He just has to do it and move on. That's plenty tough.

The team would play better ball if this happened.

All 3 of these are on the table whether he goes "nuclear" or just plays out the season.

I just hope he begins to address the biggest issues or personalities to grab the attention of the team. He can work his way down the line if he feels that's what it'll take.

You didn't include the rest of my post or the context.

He doesn't have to look or act tough WHEN DOING WHAT THE OP SAID, GOING NUCLEAR ON THE TEAM, which to me connoted multiple personnel changes including QB.

He just needs to do what needs to be done and go on about his business. That sends a huge message. Screaming and raving goes in one ear and out the other.

Absolutely
No one is bigger that the University. Cancers only spread. It’s easier to do now rather than later!!

It’s almost guaranteed with this shite show.
He should get control now because the narrative out there is he’s a terrible coach that can’t win with a ton of talent. Bad schemes and poor coaching. Most aren’t aware of the internal problems.
Address it now. It’s not going to get better on its on.
