Anyone else think Beck is going to get it together the rest of the season?

And the WRs as well?
Maybe it’s the Disney Dog in me but I have a good feeling.
Hope I am not a jinx! Guess we can revisit this post later.

He can take them as far as they collectively can take themselves.

This^^^ the receivers need to get separation and catch the ball. I believe Carson has the ability to get them the ball.

Ratlege should be back for the GA-FLA game. Maybe that will help.

I do think Beck has ability. We gotta start catching the ball in traffic. As many have said, there’s been several balls hit our hands and bounce to the other side. That’s gotta stop.

All bye week should be catch drills for receivers and DBs
To be honest I don't think they will. The receivers just can't catch and it's honestly embarrassing to see how many yards we've lost.

Of course he has the ability, however the short rounds, off to the side ones, stupid throws, etc, has to fixed

He’s definitely made some mistakes this year, but he also hasn’t had help (dropped balls).. I hope he figures it out!

Depends on his receivers. It's not looking good when London Humphreys lines up a the number 1. His not our running any corner so the safety can cheat in for run support.

I think these things are true...
1) Our WR's suck right now at catching the ball. They need to live on that jug machine.
2) Beck is still going to force balls over the middle, get deflected and good for 1-2 INT's per game.
3) Our OLine is not that great on run blocking but good enough on pass blocking
Tate doesn't add much difference to #3 as seen leading up to his injury.

Hopefully the switch was flipped last week in Austin. Especially with the "D".
They looked like they were having fun, hopefully its contagious and carries over.
The "O" is gonna be a challenge all year. Only 3 RBs a shakey OL and a QB and WRs who are still not quite on the same page...
Looking forward to watching rest of season unfold.

Obviously they have the talent.
Maybe last week will loosen them up mentally. Beck has seemed tight all season and those drops are by our receivers aren’t normal.
Coming in #1 with all of those expectations comes with a fear of screwing up. Losing to Bama didn’t help. Now maybe after that win they’ll start playing with confidence and just get after it. We’ll see in Jacksonville.

I wish Georgia would recruit and keep elite WR talent. When we had Bowers we schemed ways for him to get touches. Why can't we do something similar for elite WRs. Instead we have this spread the targets out across a large group of WRs approach.
Maybe we use that approach because we can't sign those guys. And maybe we can't sign those guys because of that approach.
Still, we need some difference makers at WR and it seems we have been saying that for years.

Spreading the ball out is a sign of a good OC and QB making reads instead of throwing to the best guy. Having another legit deep threat would help this particular offensive scheme. Was hoping 16 would be that guy. Even if he isn’t thrown the ball he pulls the safety with him.

I didn't think UGA was going to go into Austin and beat texas. So yes, anything is possible.

He straight up said in Austin that he "felt off" all during the 4th Q

We were logging MORE players catching passes during a game when we had Bowers & McHonkey.

Well, the light certainly came on for the D last week. So, anything can happen. I think the OLine is playing better than some are giving them credit and getting Tate back will only help.
Yeah, the WRs and TEs will probably get drilled this off week on holding on to the ball. Get that fixed and I see no reason we can't run the table all the way to the playoffs...and beyond.

I think the offense will improve. Correctable shite like drops, miscommunication, and general awkwardness can and should improve.
However, guys like Colbie Young and Rara Thomas were great redzone targets for us, and there's not much there to replace them.
I predict redzone offense will be a weakness for the rest of the year.
