Deboer will be here three years minimum. Maybe some fans should switch teams

I mean, it is what it is.

I hope Deboer quietly encourages Jalen to move on to the draft or transfer.

Maybe he should reevaluate his defensive coordinator.

He needs to keep a close eye on Ryan Williams and make sure he stays.

Kaden Proctor should not play next year at his current weight.

Finally, he should absolutely make no commitments to Ty Simpson about next year. I feel like both Milroe and Simpson have their own little following and lobbying effort going on and I think Deboer needs to move past all that and bring in his own QB

As for the fan base, it's time for those who have decided that Deboer was a mistake to simply move on. There is no advantage to the program to trash and disrespect the head coach in year one.

Wrong. If he ends up being insufficient as a coach, then the earlier he’s on the hot seat the earlier he’s fired.

Dude shut the frick up.

The defense had like 4 turnovers today.

And we LOST. Because our quarterback was AWFUL!!

I don't care about turnovers. That defense is soft.

I'm willing to give him time if not for any other reason as who would we get to replace him?

He's playing with talent, but perhaps it's not the type talent he wants.
Maybe he doesn't like the talented non team players. Maybe he can do better with the entire team of his

He'd be owed $70 million after this season. I hate buyout clauses with a passion...but I'm not giving up on DeBoer after 1 season.

I’m not saying he has to go this season. I’m saying that the fan base being on his arse from the beginning may end up getting him out a year earlier. Never know.

Unless CKD robs a bank or does something insane, he’s here for 3 years. Zero doubt about it.

He’ll adapt/change/modify in that time and improve. If not, he’ll be fired. Period.

I’ve never been a fan of a coach being the players buddy and I suspect CKD is seeing the error of that now.

Stop it with this shite. Every coach of a team not named Georgia Or Ohio State would suck a hobos dick to trade rosters with Alabama. That incudes Kalen Deboer's Washington team in 2023.

This staff is massively underachieving with this roster.

Because they’re massively awful and were just above average in the FRICKING PAC 12!!

Gonna have to get creative. Admin assistant needs to come forward with credible allegations or the brick through the window connects with his skull.

He deserves every single ounce of criticism he's getting.

he makes millions of dollars and was handed the keys to a well built program.

We look like one of the most poorly coached and undisciplined teams in the country

Why did 12 people downvote this and only 1 upvote?? Just look at this UGA defense on the road against Texas versus our defense this year.

Even Big 12 and PAC 12 defenses get TOs from time to time, but a good defense doesn’t give up every short yard play because they can’t stand up the OL at all. This board can’t understand what they are seeing

You're a fan and this is your opinion. We all have our opinions. I can tell you though I'll be here long after Deboer isnt.

He could leave in the next two years on his own. Maybe back to Washington.

I’m as disappointed as anyone, but who would you replace him with? The dude from Indiana?

It’s way too early for any talk of a coaching change.

Let me step back and give you a hot take, from a guy who was or used to be more of a Bammer than 99% on here but who quit watching in 2020 as w won the title, Born in T-Town (DCH) Knew so many old scores from the 20s and 30s a Judge once let me off at 13 because he graduated their and just loved me knowing all the old stuff/traditions. I cried as a 9 year old in 73 when we lost to Notre Dame and mommy had to console me.

I stopped because I saw what was coming, the money and free transfers was planed out by Lawyers and I think the NCAA leadership was in the loop, because of other liberal policies we saw in the past, thats neither here nor there. But I knew there could be no discipline going forward, thats why Nick quit imho.

NOW THE HOT TAKE on Coach DeBoer

Hes a great coach stepping into big shows, but hes not like Les Miles where the Saban machine was on Auto Pilot for 10 years. Hes taking over a bunch of primadonnas who are all about SELF and getting BANK, and IMHOH he never had players that were as "good as these guys" so he never had to worry too much about paying players. It was just starting and he changes jobs. Whereas Wash. had a few players, ever Bama player thinks they are worth BIG MULAH, and its going to cause jealousy when some get more that others etc.

DeBoer does not have his preferred type QB, he likes a guy who is steady, heady and consistent. He not going to get calls via all these Bama hating Refs, its just a fact, mostly because he knows none of the and they are not pros in nature.

But as soon as he gets his type players in, and maybe fires the DC who loves a 3 man front, he will adjust and be OK. USCe is not a bad team, Vandy was in Milroe mostly, he gave them 14 points. He felt he ha to start Milroe, but IMHO, hes just not very good. Once hes gone, then I think we can judge DeBoer more fairly. But these players are the problem, its all me, and not all THE TEAM. So, let see what he does with his own QB.

The bigges problem is not just him, Saban had it too, you can not find a QB that can take a snap under center, its too funny, handing the ball off 7 yards in the backfield is STUPID.

At 10 plus million a year is this a serious excuse? Was he not here in the spring to evaluate this?
