I think Bama drops one more game this year, likely at LSU regardless of what happens this weekend, making this a playoff elimination game.
This is a MUST win game for both teams because we have UGA on the road and very feisty Vandy and Kentucky teams left as well.
Tennessee and Bama built this conference so it's only appropriate that we be the ones to put the official stamp on it.
We don't just want to win gumps. We want to run up the score as much as possible and crush your hopes and spirits and break your entire program under Da-blower.
If you had any semblance of a defense, I'd be worried. But you don't.
You play Pac-10 style finesse football now while we play old school real SEC smashmouth football.
The football gods are definitely on our side in this game.

Why are you so confident?
The one decent team you've played (Arkansas) beat you after your player intentionally took out their starting QB. Your offense scored 25 points against OU and 17 points in regulation against Florida.
Tennessee won't be able to keep up. I don't know what the spread is, but I expect the Tide to cover.

I think it's now certain: Bama by a lot.

Don't talk about it - be about it.

No it isn’t.
A two loss team from the SEC with a win over UGA is going to the playoffs.
It’s just a question of who will remain in contention for the SECCG and hold onto their second mulligan.
But beyond that, it’s the third Saturday so the game matters because both teams just hate each other.

So, lose to Vandy, dynasty still in tact. Lose to Tennessee, dynasty over.
Got it.
Got it.

Too many early road games with an out of shape left tackle and freshman QB. Also, Arky is a few plays away from being undefeated.. Wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see them throttle LSU this weekend.
And we knew how dangerous the Arkansas game was in Fayetteville. Many Vols including myself creating pre game threads stating our concerns.
We matchup very well with Bama though, strengths against weaknesses. And getting them in Neyland is a huge advantage for us.
The only thing impressive/dangerous thing about Bama is Milroe and Ryan Williams.
They will get some 50/50 balls but we will likely hold them for under 80 yards rushing.
Milroe ain't good enough to beat us with his arm he just isn't.
Bama must run the ball well and consistently if they want to win this game. Simple as that.
Also, Nico is very very close to putting together a real game against an SEC defense. Bama's paper thin secondary is a good opponent fir a breakout game at home for him.
I'm telling you guys, Nico will look much more in sync this game. My orange spidy senses are tingling. He made numerous NFL level throws against Florida just had timing and freshman nerve moments like putting the ball on the ground that first drive stalling early momentum.

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard that I could buy the site from Chicken and have money left for a beach house in 30A
