Billy trying to get more out of the Gators than is there.
Being a super-motivational-all-positive-no-negative coach when ability isn't there is more detrimental than effective.

Florida should've won that game 41-17, and Billy did all he could to ensure it didn't happen.

frickall about shoulda, coulda, 30 years of Florida’s dumb arse winning games vs the Vols when they were evenly matched to the Vols being significantly better team.
