I was talking about this with someone yesterday. I’d never seen gun celebrations flagged until this year, which I guess is making everyone in the NFL and college want to do it more. It makes no sense

The Super Bowl halftime show is talked about as much as the actual game is now days. It is all about theatrics, not football. Look at the big NFL story this morning. It isn’t about Dallas beating Pittsburg on a 4th down throw after a crazy 3rd down run where a defender turned into superman and caused a fumble. The big story is that Ceedee Lamb got mad and yelled at Dak Prescott.

Players want to be seen more than they want to play football. A good way to be noticed is making some juvenile gun gesture. Or dancing. Or some other dumbass “look at me” celebration. It is just a sad sign of the times.

The NFL needs to be shown on TMZ instead of ESPN. College football is doing it’s damnedest to follow in their footsteps. The Housewives of Beverly Hills will soon be competing against the new reality show The Wide Receivers of the NFL. A college spin off is in the works.

LDU players shooting at USC players. Very disgraceful. The student killing garden gnome is teaching them well...

*stands on soap box*

Our culture has deteriorated so much that we have elevated POS rappers/influencers promoting lifestyles of degeneracy including the glorification of gang violence. Our culture celebrates this by awarding these people with fame and fortune. We have a bunch of fatherless kids with nobody to teach them, so the culture teaches them this garbage. Instead of stopping it, we just allow it, and even worse, we celebrate it. We could take a stand and call out this culture, but we are all too big of P******, and we are labeled something if we do find the courage speak out.

*gets off soapbox*

It cut off, but it looked like he was doing a bow and arrow to me.

I think that he is grabbing his imaginary shotgun that is imaginarily strapped to his shoulder/back. Never seen someone hold a bow and arrow like that, much less pump one.

Fictional golfer in a comedy movie. Probably not a good justification.

Trey Holly has actually faced repercussions for his alleged actions both legally and from the university unlike someone else
