With Alabama and Georgia being down, the Longhorns are the top-level team that the league is used to.

Someone is trying to get a rise from the local denizens. LOL.

Truthfully, Texas benefits from being in the SEC, and the SEC should get more $$$ in the next contract thanks to new members Texas and OU. It's mutually beneficial like all business deals should be.

I fully expect Texas to have at least two losses before the end on November. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Why would ESPN pay the SEC more money when they don't have to? The league would have to allow multiple networks to bid on its TV rights for that to even be possible and Sankey is not giving up the propaganda the mouse provides.

We will get to see what Texas is in the next several weeks. They have been acting like they own the place because they beat a mediocre Michigan team and have beaten mighty Mississippi State. Cool. Your next easiest game could well be the RRR this week. After that:

Georgia at home. A Georgia team that knows it needs to win to have any shot at winning the SEC and needs that W to stay firmly in the Playoff conversation.

Then you get to go to Nashville and play Vanderbilt in what was supposed to be an easy W. Uh, yeah about that.

Florida at home. Should win that. Oh, Florida is starting to improve and has talent though so better not sleep on them. Ok, this should be an easier win than OU.

At Arkansas. Oof. Arkie is playing some serious defense and that place will be absolutely insane for this game. Those guys hate you almost as much as Aggies do.

Kentucky at home. Same Kentucky that beat Ole Miss on the road. Same Kentucky that almost beat Georgia. Should be fun.

Oh, then you get to come to Kyle Field.

So might be a thought to stop wandering around tRant looking for people to suck your dick while you pat yourself on the back. This is one of those years where it looked like Texas had a schedule that was a gift from the SEC gods and suddenly you have one trap game after another. This isn't the Big 12 where you can just show up and out talent the other guy every week. You better come to play because everyone else will and every team on your schedule is capable of beating you.

I'm no expert on this stuff, but I'm old enough to know money is the primary driver for all decisions and that's true whether we are talking sports, politics, or war.

Disney expects to make more money with inventory like Texas/Georgia or the recently played OU/Tennessee. The realignment would not have taken place without Disney's encouragement in the background. Heck they more or less paid the Big 12 via their contract to let Texas and OU leave a year early.

I expect the money made off the SEC to be greater than ever and the SEC member schools will reap a benefit accordingly.

If you don't agree, that's fine.

I believe it will be Texas vs Ohio State in the finals.

I look forward to seeing You guys in the Shoe. It might be a record house.

But. But. But.........

I thought Texas had the easiest schedule because the SEC commish was a closet fan and that we have a cake walk and paid for the easiest schedule?

Which is it?

SEC is a gauntlet or Texas has a sweetheart schedule? You idiots can't decide because it's a moving target and fake news depending on which narrative fits the agenda for the week.
