I have no idea.

If you could go to Missouri, Arkansas or Oklahoma…which would it be?

Probably Oklahoma, maybe Arkansas.

At least in Oklahoma you can see the tornadoes coming.

Oklahoma doesn't even sell real beer, it's all 3.2 beer. Also OKC feels like one giant suburb, there's no city to the city it's just all strip malls and neighborhoods.

Missouri is kinda methy and gross. There are nice parts but they're mostly in the eastern part of the state opposite of the university.

I'd go with Arkansas.

Missouri is the best school of the three academically. My nephew got a full ride scholarship to OU and that's why he chose to go there. I haven't been very impressed when I've visited him there. The game day experience in Norman is really lacking compared to other SEC schools. And the rest of Oklahoma is one giant meth lab. So, I'd pick either Mizzou for the good academics or Arkansas for the campus and beauty of the surrounding area.

When you do this thread again next week, just put in your OP that you wanted to let everyone know your kid is a kicker.

I almost took a job in Norman once, I had a good first impression, but I'm sure there are sketchy areas that I'm not aware of

I do know that Moore, OK tornados head straight for us in NWA, a beeline. Regardless of our tornado strike this past spring, I think our mountains break them up somewhat

Depends on what you want to study.

OU has a strong liberal arts program, especially in History, and its College of Atmospheric and Geographic Sciences is a top program in the country. OU Health is outstanding.

#1 Depends on the major.

#2 Way more to do in OKC metro than both Columbia and Fayetteville.

#3 OU campus is good, and I have friends from all over who had a great time in Norman. Can't go wrong either way.

If you ask me, I think all three are comparable in terms of overall reputation. Sure individual majors may have more recognition. I am in high tech by occupation.

I would select from them by cost, proximity to family, etc.

I think Arkansas has a pretty good quality of life if you like the outdoors and fishing/hunting.
