They can take two more losses in this system, not sure why people don't get that. The concern is not the resume hit from the loss, but the fashion in which the loss happened. If the defense plays at that level and the running game continues to be that much of a nonfactor, there's no point talking resume.

I don't know. It will really depend on if they come out and play with more focus next week. We had this game in hand, and then an o-lineman miffs on a block and Milroe gets sacked and fumbles the ball away. Until that point, I still thought we were going to win.
These dudes have to understand that anyone can beat them if they come out there lazy. I don't know why that didn't get through to them when they nearly got beat by USF, but it didn't. Maybe they needed a loss to help them wake up.

Youre not going to win anything with this defense. No chance, unless theres drastic improvement.
Offensively we didnt play badly at all. still arent running the ball well but we are moving the ball.

Defense is going to get blamed, but our offense had zero balance. We didn’t even try to run the ball. Jam had 50 yards on only 5 carries. Only one carry in the second half. When a defense is having a hard time getting off the field on 3rd downs, the worst thing you can do offensively is go 3 and out on 3 straight passes, and we did that a few times. With a little more balance, Milroe doesn’t get strip sacked either. Their defense knew we were passing
