Freeze is catching a lot of flak and perhaps deservedly so, but y'all got some ball players on that team. The future is not bleak. With an above average QB and PK, that's a totally different outcome. Y'all had WR's running free, our secondary didn't play great.

I've heard nothing but good things from folks I know who made the trip. See you guys next year

eta: the box score, holy smokes. Looks like that shoulda been a comfy win for Auburn.

Not sure why the call in Spanish and the band waving silently after makes it even funnier than the play already is.

Freeze called a hell of a game. OUs defense was good, but there was so much misdirection they could never settle into a rhythm. Auburn ran the ball better than anybody has on OU in over two years. I would certainly give freeze another year to get a qb sorted out. I’d take him as OC at OU in a heartbeat. He has a killer offense.

You know we are in a different time in our lives when AU doesn't have the best PK known to man

The difference in creativity of play design and play calling between Stark and Litrell was GLARING.

Sometime I don't think au will have to fire Freeze. He looks so beat down he is ready to just quit.

Wish we had gotten Pavia at the least.

Our kicker has chronic GI disorder that has caused him to miss games.

Is the kicker that is sick McPherson? Has he played at all this season?

Too embarrassed to have your daddy on the team

Here’s a strange stat. OU averaged more yards per run and per attempted pass than Auburn.

Pass:
OU 15 for 10.7 avg
AU 32 for 10.6 avg

Run:
OU 32 for 4.1 avg
AU 43 for 3.3 avg

It was just that Auburn had so many more plays and had such a big TOP compared to OU is why the stat is an anomaly. Auburn had a great game plan but the missed kicks and other game management were difference. That team has talent but coaching was bad. On the Int, why pass there?

No.
I believe McPherson is out for the season with Chrohn’s or something like that. McGough is a true freshman but I think he was one of the top HS kickers in the country last year.

Probably AU’s best offensive and defensive performance, but OU had some explosive plays that made the difference.

Good game, and congratulations on your first win in the SEC.

As you saw, even the teams that are struggling make you work for them.

Kind of interesting...

OU's regular kicker was out with appendicitis. Fortunately for OU... the guy who did placement's last year came in and made his two tries.

Pavia would win you two more games this year. He’s a total gamer that is surprisingly elusive running with the ball. Would have been a great fit for Auburn.

We have three of the best running backs in the SEC, and so our coach decided with 5 min left in the game to put it in the hands of a QB calling RPO plays who is prone to throw interceptions. For someone to call such a good game and then to do something that stupid is baffling.

I was shocked at the pass attempt. What I think happened is the play before you had 2nd and 2. And rushed but lost 2 yards making it 3rd and 4. Had it been 3rd and 2 your coach likely rushes.

But 3rd down clock was at 4:14 and coach should have rushed knowing how depleted our offense was. And at worst he doesn’t get it but clock runs for a punt. Now you have clock at 3:45 or so punting to pin us deep. And also crowd would have been at its loudest.

I sat in the visitor section surrounded by OU fans. Those fans were some of the nicest fans I have ever sat with during a game. Very courteous, nice, well mannered, gracious etc. I got invited to numerous tailgates in Norman next year for AU's return trip.

No future for a program with coach that makes everyone puke vomit and or regurgitate
