College football matchups you're surprised haven't happened more often or at all?

Michigan/Texas- Saturday will be only the second meeting ever
Ohio St/Texas- only 3 meetings
OU/UGA- the 2018 Rose Bowl was the only meeting, obviously that'll change with OU now in the SEC
Texas/Clemson, never happened
USC/UGA- 3 meetings all time, none since 1960
OU/Ole Miss- met in a bowl game once, that's it

Arkansas - Oklahoma is an easy one

LSU and Houston have only played 3 times in history, which is a bit surprising given proximity.

Texas/LSU have met 18 times but we've played our other border state schools many, many more times

I was in undergrad when South Carolina and UVA had a home and home. It seemed to "make sense," and I thought I'd see us play more often moving forward, similar to our series with NC State and UNC.
Haven't played them in 20 years now.

it's weird LSU Michigan have never played, not even in a bowl game
That's probably the one big time opponent I would like to see on the LSU schedule in the future

Matchups that should happen.
Southern Cal vs South Carolina. USC vs USC. Cocks vs Condoms. Come on, this should be a semi-regular matchup.
South Carolina vs Oregon STate. Cocks vs Beavers. The fact these two have never played is a shame.

Always thought it odd Alabama and Florida have played just 42 games, only 32 of which were regular season matchups.

I'm cynical, so I come across as being older than I am.
But I'm still old!

aggy/Georgia have only played 6 times in history.
Never in College Station, but twice in Athens.
Only once in the 12 years aggy has been SEC.
WTF?

It's simply cross division scheduling weirdness.
UGA's only played Bama twice in the regular season from 2009-2023 (15 seasons). It just doesn't seem like it because we played them four times in the SECCG and twice in the playoff in that stretch.
We've played LSU twice in the regular season from 2010-2023 (14 games) and don't play them this year either. But we've met them 3 times in the SECCG in that stretch.
A&M hasn't made the SECCG, so it makes the lack of games stand out. We were supposed to play them this year, but the rescheduling with expansion erased that game.
UGA would have only had 2 games against MSU and Arkansas in similar stretches as well, but got a 3rd with both in the covid year.
The only team's UGA would have had more than 2 regular season games with since 2010 or so without Covid would be Auburn (who we play every year) and Ole Miss (who we finished a home and home with in 2012 when the SEC expanded, then played in 2016 and 2023)
