AU wont be able to pass and they can't run the ball. They will finish 5-7 or worse.

I appreciate this detailed rebuttal and I agree with all the conclusions made.

I'd define it more as "can't score points running the ball".
It really depends on how much - if at all - our line has improved and if Thorne can get the ball downfield. If we're back to beating Hunter into the line, tossing screen passes and Thorne running for his life, Dodd may end up being right.

But we literally had on of the top running offenses in the country last year. I think we were 24th in rushing and with NO passing game yet we get Cam Coleman and Smith and get worse? How dumb can you be?

Good. The less the talking heads expect the better we’ll be.

Dennis Dodd is a long-time AU hater and giant frick chop.
But, that's where we are as a program. No reason to believe, until there's reason to believe.
I still hope he gets a reoccurring, painful, ingrown toenail to match a nasty, painful sty for the rest of the college football season.

Moron from Moronica. Even looks the part.
My target is 7 - 8 wins this season. Not saying we should beat them this year on the road, but with a talent depleted roster, we made Jawja and uat sweat bullets last year.

I just can’t see being under .500 this year. Better running game, better receivers, Defense will continue to shine.

I mean we are 23-26 over our last 4 seasons including 3 straight losing seasons.
It’s not a stretch to say we finish that way again.
I hope we do better and I know our future is bright, but being realistic tells me it’s a very real possibility. Personally I lean more to 7-8-5 or 7-6 than 5-8 or 6-7.

Sure, but that would untie some great commitments and thus I call upon Hugh to summon God as his supporter again.

Well that's just dumb. I'd be very disappointed with anything below 7-5. It would take some major injuries to get below 6 wins
