While watching the Georgia Football practice on Sunday I came away with a few takes...

1. Branson Robinson is now 100% ready for the season.
2. London Humphries is going to be featured in creative motion packages.
3. The D-Line is as solid since 2021.
4. Nitro Tuggle is very likely becoming the new Ladd McConkey.
5. 55 yard field goals are very much in play.
6. Yurosek and Reddell are both very impressive.
7. Puglisi and Stockton can run the offense just as good as Beck can.
8. Nate Frazier is going to get playing time as a true freshman.
9. The O-line is huge and has plenty of depth.
10. The pass rush is going to be much better this season.

Don't be surprised if you hear the slogan, "WE OWN THE 4TH QUARTER."

Conditioning appears to be a top priority this season. Kirby had the guys hustling the entire practice.

That sounds completely unbiased. Thanks for the update.

Maybe they'll be able to convert 3rd and short this year.

I still don't have access to the Georgia forum after 20+ requests.

If this is true, I have a hard time betting against Georgia this year.

From an outside perspective that looked like one of your weaker links. Everywhere else is pretty loaded.

Just for context, across all of college football, there were only 10 FGs greater than 55-yards during the entire 2023 season (four of those were from 56).

In 2022, there were three, and in 2021 there were four.

The Missouri kicker hit a one-off longest field goal in SEC history last year at 61-yards.

So when you're telling us that kicks of similar magnitude are "very much in play" during actual games, the kicker in question would have to potentially be one of the, if not the greatest of all time.

Alright this seems biased. I’m checking out.

I wish this board had objective fans on it. I wanted some decent insight into a rival program and I, once again, am the dipshit for thinking anyone on this board outside of a handful deliver actual objective analysis on their team.

dude is maybe 75% back. Still has quite a bit of work to get back to 100

Not near the depth as 2021. Line isn’t much improved from last year

This is a silly statement

I think it means he's shown the leg to be able to make kicks that long. It doesn't mean UGA will necessarily choose to kick them vs punt in those scenarios, but the kicker having a strong enough leg to make them regularly in practice indicates that the coach at least has the option to try those in games with a reasonable chance of success.

I'm sure there were other kickers who could hit 55+ yard FG's who just didn't have enough opportunity to make one in the years you referenced.

Whatever.

"55 yard field goals are very much in play." Is it tthe same kicker that missed from 50 in the SECCG?

See you Sept. 18 at BDS.

well that's simply not even remotely true.

at thinking a scholarship D1 kicker being able to make a 55-yarder qualifies him as one of the best in history

I don't think running to the outside out of the shotgun formation is an indicator of much when it comes to short yardage situations where you lean on a big, powerful OL.
