Who is Corey Davis and why is he the 2nd best WR since 2014?

Had to look him up. He played at Western Michigan from 2013-2016 and is the FBS all-time receiving yards leader.

I think this list is accolades and not who you would take on your team if you had all 25 options for your team
If you have those 25 players, who are you taking?
I honestly think you're taking kids from Bama/OSU/LSU and that literally may be it.
Jefferson, Harrison, Smith is probably who I'm taking, but I could be convinced of a combination of Chase/Smith/Harrison/Wilson/JSN/Nabers/Jeudy/Jefferson

Hyatt is the only WR on that list to single handedly dominate a Nick Saban secondary and defense over and over for 5 TDS in one game.

Jaylin Hyatt at Tennessee was pretty much undefendable. No one could catch him and he would just torch the secondary on deep routes no matter how deep they lined up back there. The opponent didn't matter.

Seems accurate. Smitty was a stud.

When it comes to accolades there is no receiver in the history of college football who tops DeVonta Smith:
2x 1st Team All-SEC (2019, 2020)
Unanimous 1st Team All-American (2020)
SEC Offensive Player of the Year (2020)
Sporting News College Football Player of the Year (2020)
AP College Football Player of the Year (2020)
Paul Hornung Award (2020)
Fred Biletnikoff Award (2020)
Walter Camp Award (2020)
Maxwell Award (2020)
Heisman Trophy (2020)
CFP National Championship Game MVP (2021)
He led the team in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns in both 2019 and 2020 while also being on the receiving end of 2nd & 26, one of the most iconic plays in the history of college football, as a true freshman.
There have certainly been more talented, more physical WRs to come through college football and the SEC since the CFP Era began back in 2014, but you cannot deny the results Smith gave Alabama on the field of play.

Would be an insane roster just with WRs from those 3 - both in terms of college success and NFL success.
- Jordan Jefferson
- Jamarr Chase
- Terrace Marshall
- Malik Nabors
- Brian Thomas Jr
- DeVonta Smith
- Jalyen Waddle
- Jerry Jeudy
- Amari Cooper
- Calvin Ridley
- Jameson Williams
- Michael Thomas
- Curtis Samuel
- Parris Campbell
- Terry McLaurin
- Garrett Wilson
- Chris Olave
- Jaxon Smith-Njigba
- Marvin Harrison Jr

No way you don't take CeeDee Lamb. He's first team all-pro.

Amari Cooper belongs on that list.

True dat. Without Amari Cooper we likely don't beat Auburn and win the SEC after losing to Ole Miss in 2014.

Any list or ranking is going to either leave out someone deserving or cause disagreement on ranking. Having said that, this list isn't a bad one imo.

In what world is Justin Jefferson the 17th best WR of the CFP era and Amari Cooper is unlisted? Terrible. Please explain to me how KD Cannon or Dylan Wallace were better than those two guys in any way, shape or form.

He did nothing against UGA. 63 yards 0 touchdowns.
