After seeing the recent popularity for college baseball, which other sport do you think could provide entertainment were it not hindered by title IX? And how good do you think your team would be.

Soccer?
Hockey?

What has changed recently? It's still a niche sport outside of the south in college.

Soccer? Hockey?

Not for men.

College baseball isn’t that popular outside of the southeast. Fans of programs that are relevant try to make it more popular than it actually is.

Well it's too cold to play baseball in the big 10 and the pac 12 can barely get fans to watch their football games.

Soccer and Hockey would both be great. NHL is fun to attend. Soccer with SEC Booster money trying to recruit swing talent that EPL clubs are vying for is a fun thought

How did title IX hinder any other sport? Do you even understand what title IX is? Give me a specific example of what you are accusing title IX of hindering. The popularity of any sport is exposure....plain and simple. The women's basketball has gained popularity because Catlin Clark became a media darling. If the media did not give her exposure then her impact would have been minimal. You don't seem to understand the very argument you are trying to make.

I think he's trying to say that if men's sports didn't have to support women's sports there would be more money to put into other men's programs.

College baseball is popular in the Southeast, West coast, Southwest, and the pacific northwest. It's regional mostly due to weather.

You need two more women’s teams than men’s teams which is why most SEC schools don’t have men’s soccer etc. Funding an additional money losing women’s sport is a barrier to just adding another men’s sport.

If you don’t think title ix hinders men’s soccer, you don’t understand what it is.

I don’t think baseball is any more popular than it was.

I think Tennessee is just incredibly obnoxious because their trophy case grew from 1% capacity to 1.5% capacity.

“After seeing the recent popularity for college baseball,”

??
What?

There’s been an uptick in the sec because a lot of teams are good now but nationally literally no one cares one single little bit.

For Mizzou, both. Soccer has been popular in Eastern Mo really St. Louis since the late 19th century and hockey has ballooned in said area since the Brett Hull era.

Hockey is a fun sport, especially in person.
