Does a 9-3 Florida team make the College Football playoffs this year?

So everyone knows the Gators have a horrifying schedule and nobody expects us to break .500 this year. That being said if Florida managed to only drop 3 of the following games, do you think that’s as good as a 10-2 or 11-1 record in the ACC/Big10/Big12? If so, what would be the “acceptable” losses.

Georgia, Texas, LSU….if you only lose those 3 you might have a shot.

9-3 with that schedule definitely makes it I would think. I guess it could be close if the 3 losses were all to the 3 best teams on the schedule though if there are quite a few 10-2 teams. With the new schedules and teams I doubt there are too many 10-2 SEC and Big 10 teams though.

Yes, most definitely with that schedule. If we don't, it would send a message to other teams to avoid a difficult schedule.
Heck, I think an 8-4 record with close losses should have the committee give us a look.

With the schedule Florida faces a 9-3 record should be enough to receive a playoff bid- barring any blowout loses or major injuries.

While I don't think they make the playoffs, I do think Florida will be better than most here think, and hope the fanbase will hold off on the tar and feathers for another season.

With that schedule, I do think Fla has a much better than 50% chance of making the playoff with a 9-3 record.
That said, Fla chances to be 9-3 run closer to 10% or less.

Probably not but Napier will almost certainly have saved his job.

He'll save his job with 6 wins, if he gets 9 the UAA will probably give him a lifetime contract and name the stadium after him. Dude must have some compromising photos of someone.

I don't think so but it will put the train back on the tracks.

There’s going to be 7 spots up for grabs after conference champs, I’d guess there’d be 3+ 10-2 teams in both big 10 and SEC, that would leave one spot for Florida if no one else goes 10-2 or better in ACC and Big 12, highly doubtful, they’ll need 10-2.

Please show me 9 wins on this schedule.
