We haven’t won a for championship in the big 3 sports since WW2.

I can speak for most Aggies by saying we’re just excited and grateful to play in the championship.

Even 80 year olds can say they’ve waiting their entire life to see this. Kinda sad but true. Big day if you’re a Aggie sports fan.

A few years ago, I read that Northwestern and ATM were the only Power 5 schools to have not won a Football Natty, made a final 4, or won a CWS championship. Not sure if true and sure it has changed after some recent realignments.

To be fair. aggy won the football title in ‘39. Sure, it’s a jillion years ago, but they did win one.

its funny how A&M keeps forcing the parameters on this "statistic" to change every year or so the last 5 years.

The more I think about it the more I’m actually pulling for A&M. I like the growing rivalry with LSU.

Because losing the SEC Championship and the 40-13 beat down is still eating you up.

Well they were voted #2 in the AP poll after their final game. Then a week later they were voted #1 for some reason. If you want to count that as a "win."

You want that to be true so bad and it’s pretty sad.

Correction, pre-WWII

Hitler invading Poland is now seen as the start of the last great war, but the "world" didn't really get involved until almost a year later.

The parameters certainly change Not long ago it was "Aggies havent won a championship in a major sport since 1939 Then, Aggie women won a basketball championship.

So then, it had to be a mens sport. No top 5 finishes since 1939. Then, Aggies finished number 4 in football in the AP.

Now, guaranteed a top 2 finish in baseball. So, how many schools have not won a championship in a mens sport? I am certain we wont see that stat no matter what happens over the next couple of days

And hopefully because we are the underdogs due to injury, that puts ALL the pressure on Vols.

Ags without their #1 hitter, #2 starting pitcher, #2 batter with a gimp leg (Jace), and #4 batter with a gimp leg (Hayden), are absolutely underdogs.

Perfect position to be in for this team. They handle pressure well. See if TN pulls a 2022 or not.

Next man up.

The way I view it with the injuries is A&M is playing with house money.
