On ESPN for the Mich Panthers.

Years later still collecting a paycheck.

Have had one for 4 years. Been pleased. Great car and fun car to drive around town. Not fun to travel ~200 miles or a road trip. Great technology.

Got a friend who’s son was a two year starting punter for an SEC school (punted in playoff game a few years ago). He told me that his son got 3 punts per practice with coaching. Rest of time the punters were on their own.

Back in the 90’s we were hoping for six wins to get us a bowl game. The importance was the 3 extra weeks of practice and developing the younger talent. Extra practices and developing your talent matters less as portions of the team end up in the portal.

Work from home: people feel busy because the spend 6 hrs/day on calls…

I work from home 2 days a week and compared to my colleagues in the plants… those guys work longer and harder hours.

Our traffic is about 2 hours worse than when I left Kyle Fiekd and 1.5 hrs longer than getting out of Austin for a TU game.

Going to LSU games for 45 years… it is getting worse. Poor leadership and lack of counter flow has made it NOT worth going to the games.

Almost named my third son Ellis Hugh… wife wasn’t down with it… so we named him Mike.

I was at game, told my son at the time: this is the turning point if we aren’t careful… and well… we weren’t.

Traffic to and from game: flowed smooth. Many more police officers getting traffic flowing.

Bathrooms: never waited. Very clean.

Self serve drinks. Self checkout beer lines.

Piped in music damn near never stopped. All geared to keep students in game. DJ mixing songs and had everyone into game. My guess: 15-20k students (goal line to goal line section three levels high). Best tickets in stadium right behind our bench, all students.

Black out with white towels made it hard for me to find LSU players from my 25th row seat. Our guys blended into stands… wish we had on yellow pants. Had to be an issue for Nuss.

Was told band is in section 131. What are the other sections for LSU?
