I know it’s a limited sample size but he seems even more dominant than he was in college at LSU.

I don’t remember where I saw it, but I saw a stat that the ten fastest recorded pitches so far this season in MLB were all from Skenes. I hope his elbow can hold up to that kind of stress. Some people are just built different and I hope he is one of them.

I think it was something where 9 of 10 of the fastest pitches thrown by a starter were by Skenes, but I think this was only after either his 1st or 2nd start. Skenes is already scary, but he should only get better as the season goes on.

I think he’s definitely one of those people. It really seems like it’s effortless for him, as in he’s just pitching “normal.” I mean shite last year he was still hitting the 100s in late innings. And some were faster than the pitches he was throwing in the 1st.
