Auburn fans sure do have a chip on their shoulder when it comes to Arkansas basketball. Y’all really don’t like that Arkansas beat that arse in Bud Walton.

What the hell are you babbling about?

Auburn is 3-3 against Arkansas at Bud Walton going back to 2015…. Two of your three wins were by just a single bucket, and the third was still by single digits.

Quite the contrast to the 32-point drubbing we put on you last season. Is that still the most lopsided loss for the Hogs in BW Arena history? Yall had so many bad ones last year, I’m not sure if that record still stands.

And in a hilarious cope, Auburn fans think Arkansas fans stormed the court because of them. It was due to beating the #1 team.

Remind us who that team was again?

Personally, I think storming the court is cringe. Considering our great history, we’ve beaten top teams before and there’s no need for it.

Okay. Great. Y’all sure seem to do it a lot.

I’m sure Auburn has a new shiny banner commemorating the 32 point victory over a 16-17 Arkansas team in Bud Walton.

Again, beating Auburn isn’t a big deal to Arkansas considering our massive winning record over you. The storming was due to beating #1.

Arkansas hardly ever storms the court. Bud Walton during big games is packed with fans and energy. It’s a high probability fans are gonna storm it. Auburn fans wouldn’t know anything about that because y’all don’t win big games nor have an arena like Bud Walton.

Weird flex given how good Auburn has been at home the last few years. Their home court advantage ranks up there with Kentucky and Tennessee.

Weird thread so far for several reasons -

- AU scheduled several decent programs last season and none other than Baylor ended up being very good. Holding that against Bruce/AU is very odd

- Bruce and Auburn traditionally schedule pretty decent opponents once he got the program humming, far better than what most of the SEC was doing in non-conf before his arrival.

- Weird random melt from that other Arky dude for no reason (ok the obvious reason is he resents a traditional doormat being competitive with or better than Arky)

I really like Pearl and wanted him as our coach instead of Mike Anderson because he brought energy and winning with him. I’m not surprised he has done well at auburn, which was a massive train wreck before he got there, and I told them that he was going to do very good things there. I saw something in him at 10rc and knew it was him, not the program, that brought that success.

It just struck me as funny how a fanbase can go from humble to arrogant at the flip of a switch. No doubt, we fans are some weird arse people….

Nature of it

In many ways AU fans are still “just happy to be here” but that doesn’t last forever, you adapt to the new baseline

I’m sorry you’re upset about this. Who started this thread about Auburn basketball again? Oh. A hog.

I’m glad you can take solace in something. Especially considering the series is even during the past 8 years… Auburn has two regular season titles to Arky’s zero and two SEC Tournament titles to Arky’s zero.

And who again was #1?

LOL. Sure okay.

Arky’s been so bad at basketball their fans are now completely delusional.

Exactly. Just in the last few seasons under Pearl, Auburn has played Duke, Arizona, Purdue, UConn (3x), Indiana, Syracuse, Memphis, USC, Washington, Virginia Tech, Iowa State, Nebraska, UCF, Oklahoma, Loyola Chicago, etc. all in the regular season.

No, there are others that remember last season but this guy is not one of them.

It wasn’t a melt. I simply stated Arkansas will most likely be paired with Duke again in the SEC-ACC challenge over Auburn because it’s a bigger draw.

The Auburn fans began to melt and attack.

ONE game. ONE game. And Auburn fans run with it like it’s the Super Bowl. Meanwhile, they forget that Auburn has an overall losing record to Arkansas.

They do? How many 32+ losses have happened in Bud Walton history?

Spoiler alert: it’s only happened once ever.

Agreed. Pio is a good hog fan. I’m fine getting back to topic if these other Arky fans can put their butthurt aside.

I had to go back to the start to find out what the original post was and my answer is I don’t give a shite. Is that better?

Repeatedly.

How odd.
