Felt like Cormani burned this bridge, but maybe Billy thinks the risk is worth it with a tough schedule this year.

Billy is fighting for his job so no surprise he’d take on this type of a risk

Idk that I would want that guy. I'm sure he is insanely talented but you know deion would have started him just for recruiting purposes If he felt he was anywhere near ready. Pair that with the way his recruitment was handled and the fact that even the clown show in Boulder wasn't enough to keep him happy and he seems to be a big risk.

Apparently he's only being considered as a Preferred Walk On

That would be a brilliant move. I'm shocked he would do that over going to USF or UCF on a free ride.

That does mean he has pay to be there at least till he earns a scholly right?

They'll just cover his tuition via NIL.

Dude is a perfect example of a locker room killer. Just looking for a pay check.

Damn 5 stars are the worse!! Kids like this aren't willing to work to play. He will ruin his talent guaranteed.

He's going to be paying tuition to UF so that doesn't seem like the case here. Without a doubt that was the case 18 months ago.

Looks like he'll commit while he's at UF on his Official Visit through Thursday.

Billy bringing in another highly sought after player he finished 2nd for

Florida is a much bigger clown show than CU

Dude has done nothing like Denver Harris endangering lives in that parking garage or fighting with teammates. The kid's grades were good at Colorado. No legal issues. He just didn't mesh with Deion. So, he's a good take.

He might get the HC fired.

LOL You're funny. Cormani won't have jack shite to do with Napier getting fired if he gets fired.

Why bother bringing him in if that player doesn't help save Napier? If Napier gets fired it is because he failed to get key players and coach them up.
So why bother bringing this recruit in if he isn't going to make a difference? He needs to do things that will make a difference to get him from getting fired at the end of the season.

Seems like a low risk, high reward to me. Kid is obviously talented but things just did not work out at Colorado. Bring him back home and see if the local scenery makes him adjust better. If things don’t work out, whatever he’s a preferred walk on. If they do work out, you have a good corner.

I also like it for UF because McClain seems to be betting on himself here. Appears like he was humbled at CU and maybe this lights a fire under him?

He did make a bunch of moves in the portal to try to get better for next year. We will have 3/4 starters on defense from the portal. He is currently trying to get Elijah Badger from ASU who would really help with the depth in our WR room next year.

But Billy needs to plan on being here for more than one year. If Cormani works out, we will have one of the best DB rooms in the nation in 2025. The sophomore CB's this year were ranked 13, 101, 138 and 244 overall in high school. We also got Jameer Grimsley from the portal who will be a true freshman who was ranked 71 overall.

Crystal balls coming in. I hope Badger is healthy.
