You cherry picked 2010 and later because the big 12 was very dominant before that. Also OU and Texas have always maintained top SOS. OU has always played Nebraska and Texas yearly who combine for more NCs than the rest of the SEC combined if you don’t count Bama and TN.

You sure bout dat?
LSU - 4
Florida - 3
UGA - 4
Auburn - 2
Nebraska - 5
Texas - 4
OU is a no-doubt blue blood of the sport. I believe they're the winningest team since the 1950s or something like that. But two things can be true at the same time. As such, OU is both a blue blood and has benefited from annual games with poor football schools.

I am sorry you had to play Alabama and Georgia every year. But if you had beaten them, then you would have been the team ranked in the top ten at the end of the year and not them.
Over the last ten years, Auburn has really hurt a lot of teams strength of schedule.

I’m not a huge fan of the 10+ win stat because it doesn’t factor SOS.
If you have a bunch of 10+ win seasons in a P5 conference it's a good bet that your SOS was fairly solid.

Boise State has 18 seasons of 10+ wins since 1996, yet you’d be hard-pressed to find 10 wins against ranked opponents during those 18 seasons.
And no one has them anywhere close to Auburn's level for that very reason.

Number of seasons in the past 14 years (since 2010) in which each team only faced one, lone (or fewer) Final AP Top 10 opponent:
6- Oklahoma
5- Kentucky, S Carolina, Texas A&M
4- Vanderbilt
3- Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss
2- Arkansas, LSU, Missouri, Texas
1- Florida, Miss St, Tennessee
0- Auburn
In 43% of each and every recent football season, the Oklahoma Sooners have been able to face a favorable schedule that included only a single Top 10 opponent…. The 2010 team actually played zero. Meanwhile Auburn never once faced a schedule like that during the same period of time.
Again, when taking these things into account, I’m not too impressed with some of these 10 win seasons.

Auburn....if you're gonna cry over "what ifs", then you probably have no one else to blame but yourselves.
You guys are the ones who wanted the SEC to change up the dates of the Georgia game --- and ruin one of the greatest traditions in Southern football in the process.
Y'all are always whining and crying about something!!

Maybe it’s the greatest tradition to you but few else outside the fan bases care. Giving up the texas game was huge to us but no one else gave a crap. It won’t matter in the long run, get used to it.

Mizzou fan trying to cope that your program sucks.

Ouch. Poor pigs.

Mizzou fans so Arksessed, they have to make any thread that involves Arkansas about them.
No one cares about shitty Mizzou. Go play Kansas, or something.

I’ve heard teams in west division wishing they played in the east, never once heard of an east team wanting to play in the west.
Your comparison is laughable.

If Alabama had to play Alabama every year instead of Auburn, they would have that many or more.

I think everyone should feel sorry for the Boogs because they schedule really hard games out of conference and can’t beat enough of them to win 10 games most seasons.

No, but they did lose to New Mexico State so it may be an Auburn thing

If you're 10-1, that's a special season, and you may be playing for a title in the poll era (meaning there's a good chance the national consensus is you're the best team).
Now if you're 10-2, that's a good solid season, but nothing historical.
I think the loss total (1 loss seasons) would be a far better indicator. Those are elite years. If you want to have "very good", go to 2 losses.

I didn't know that the SWC was a Sunbelt level conference.

I know this is a troll but what makes a team a blue blood? Recent success or long time success? Cause OU hasn’t won shite since 2000
